Central Florida:  UCF has provided head coach Joi Williams with a new four year contract that runs through the 2012-2013 season.  UCF had one of their best seasons in recent memory this past year.

Arkansas St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that assistant Sean Weibling is resigning to take a head coaching position at a high school in Texas.

UNC Wilmington:  Assistant Joe Redmond is leaving the program after 3 years to pursue “other interests”.

Watsonville, CA:  St. Francis Central Coast Catholic has appointed Jennifer Watson as the new AD and girls coach.  Watson has been head women’s coach at Bard College.

Chattanooga, TN:  David Casteel has been hired as girls coach at Soddy-Daisy High.

Cartersville, GA:  Gary Boulier has been promoted to head boys coach replacing his former boss who accepted the head girls job at Trion.

Mankato, MN:  Kory Kettner is the new boys coach at New Ulm Public.

Lynnwood, WA: Dan Taylor is the new head girls coach at King’s High in Shoreline.

Boston, MA: Darren Flutie has resigned as boys coach at Natick High.

Dartmouth:  We are hearing that something strange has occured at Dartmouth with head coach Terry Dunn losing his entire staff.  More to come on this…

Chipola:  Assistant Jake Headrick has been named Interim head coach; however we are hearing that he will become the permanent head coach once the school has performed appropriate diligence including a formal search.

Cincinnati: Bowling Green assistant George Jackson has accepted an assistant position at UC.  Jackson, originally from Cincinnati, had been at Bowling Green for two seasons.

Brown Mackie College (KS):  Troy Thrasher has been hired as head coach.  Thrasher was an assistant at the Univ. of Dallas the past two seasons.

Spokane, WA:  Mt. Spokane has hired new boys and girls coaches.  Greg Hannan is the new boys coach and Melissa Allen is the new girls coach.

Caldwell, ID: Vallivue girls coach Stu Sells has resigned.

Tyler, TX:  Chris Grotemat has been named boys coach at Grace Community School.  He previously held the same position at Harleton High.

Seymour, TN:  Brian Jessie has been named boys coach at Seymour, leaving the same role at Union County.

Mt. Hebron, MD: Mt. Hebron girls coach Scott Robinson has stepped down as coach, although he is expected to remain at the school in some capacity.

Tampa, FL: Stephanie Crawford has been hired as the boys coach!  Crawford has coached girls ball in the area for years and has AAU experience; but has never been a head boys coach before.

San Luis Obisbo, CA:  St. Joseph High has announced that girls coach Ron Barba is being replaced with boys coach Ed Torres.  The school has hired Tom Mott from Allan Hancock as the new boys coach and AD.

Maryland:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Maryland is expected to name David Adkins as an assistant.  Adkins was a boys assistant at nationally ranked DeMatha High in MD this past season.

West Virginia:  We are hearing that WVU will likely hire Donchez Graham (from Morgan St.) as an assistant.

NC State: Sources tell BasketballScoop that head coach Kellie Harper is eyeing former Hampton U. head coach Walter Mebane as an assistant.

Cincinnati: Head coach Jamelle Elliot has named her full staff (in line with what we told you weeks ago).  Assistants include Mark Ehlen, LaRita Wilcher and Todd Moore.  Dana Rieger will serve as DBO and Sahar Nusseibeh will be a GA.

UVA:  Sources tell BasketballScoop to look for Kentucky assistant Wendy Palmer to wind up back at her alma mater, UVA.

Minnesota Lynx:  Don Zierden has resigned to join Flip Saunders staff with the Washington Wizards and assistant Jennifer Gillom has been promoted to head coach.  We hear Gillom has added former Clemson head coach Jim Davis as an assistant as well.

Eastern Oregon:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Eastern plans to keep it within the program and will promote assistant Isaac Williams to head coach following the departure of HC Ryan Looney to Seattle Pacific.

Fairleigh Dickinson:  FD has let long time head coach Tom Green go.  After 26 seasons with the school, Green says he was “blindsided” by the decision.  Multiple sources are quoting the AD as saying he doesn’t know if it will be his decision who to hire or if it will be his superiors’; the AD added that no decisions have been made.  Strange.

American:  Head coach Jeff Jones has promoted DBO Eddie Jackson to a full time assistant and has hired Bryce Simon as the new DBO.  Simon played at American the past two seasons.

Campbell U.:  Robbie Laing, head coach, has hired Marlon Sears as an assistant.  Sears was at High Point last season.

Maryland: We are hearing that Maryland is also looking to bring Seton Hall’s Marlin Chinn in as an assistant.

UVA:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UVA will also bring Tim Taylor back as Associate head coach.  Taylor coached at UVA earlier this decade; but has been coaching at the high school level for the past few seasons.

California U. of Pennsylvania:  Cal U. has hired Mark Swasey as head coach.  Swasey comes from Franklin Pierce U. where he served in the same capacity.

Alma College:  D-III Alma announced that long time coach Charlie Goffnet is retiring; however he will stay on at the College in a special projects role and will continue to coach Golf.

UT Martin: Head coach Bret Campbell has resigned and is being replaced with assistant Jason James who has been on staff for seven years.  The University and Campbell noted several times in the release that there were “questions regarding” and “decisions made” about the Summer camps run at the University that led to his resignation; however both claim that these issues should have no impact on the team or should lead to issues with the NCAA.

New Orleans Hornets: Sources tell BasketballScoop that assistant Kenny Gattison will not return next season.

Cal State Stanislaus:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Stanislaus will soon announce the hiring of Larry Reynolds as head coach.  Reynolds is the former head coach at San Bernadino and Cal State Long Beach.

Binghampton:  Head coach Kevin Broadus has received an extension through the 2013 - 2014 season.

Brainerd, MN:  Brainerd High has hired Wade Haapajoki has the new boys coach.

Newark, OH:  Devin Fulk has been hired as the new boys coach at Heath.

Billings, MT:  Jeff Malby is the new girls coach at Billings Central.  He was the boys coach at Hardin.

Jacksonville, FL:  Clay High has promoted Josh Freeman from JV to Varsity boys coach.

Alabama Huntsville:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UAH is set to hire Roy Heintz as the new head coach.  Heintz has been the head coach at Covenant College for most of this decade and also spent a few seasons at Florida St. as an assistant beginning in 2000.

West Virginia: We are hearing that Malikah Willis (assistant at Norfolk St.) will be named an assistant at WVU.

Auburn: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Auburn is close to hiring former South Carolina assistant Ken Potosnak.  Potosnak left USC when Dave Odom retired at the end of the 2007-2008 season and was featured in a great article in ESPN the Magazine about how difficult it is to get back in once you’re out.  Glad you made it back in.

Arizona:  We hear Sean Miller has added Jamall Walker and Ryan Reynolds to his staff.  Walker will serve as DBO and Reynolds will have an administrative position.  Walker was at Ohio this past season and Reynolds was at Wake Forest.

Wisconsin Platteville:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UW-P plans to promote lead assistant Jeff Gard to head coach.

Colorado St.: Randy Baruth has been hired as DBO.  Baruth comes from D-II Northern State.

Arkansas Fort Smith:  Richie Riley and Hank Plona have been hired as assistants at UAFS.  Riley comes from Pikeville College and will serve as Recruiting coordinator.  Plona comes from Providence College where he was a GA.

Royal Oak, MI: Justin Johnson has been hired as boys coach at Livonia Clarenceville.

Olney, MD:  We hear Good Counsel High will name Blair Mills as boys coach.  Mills has been an assistant at GCHS.

Cincinnati, OH:  Todd Kalsey has been named boys coach at Deer Park.  Kalsey comes from Roger Bacon.

Watsonville, CA: North Monterey County High has promoted Zach Cook as girls varsity coach.

Fayetteville, NC:  Ted Gaskins is stepping down at E.E. Smith to return to Lumberton High.  He will be replaced by Darrell Purcell who will serve as interim boys coach this season.

UT Martin:  Bret Campbell’s resignation was “forced” according to him.  He says the University gave him 24 hours to decide whether he would resign and accept a severance package or be fired.  All of this stems from Campbell depositing camp checks into his personal bank account (as opposed to the University’s).

Sacramento St.:  Head coach Brian Katz has hired Ajay Riding as an assistant.  Riding had been a GA at Fresno St. for the past two seasons.  Riding also played for Katz at Delta.

Texas St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Texas St. is expected to hire former Centenary coach Rob Flaska as an assistant.  Flaska was at Texas Southern this past season.

Gettysburg College: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Stuart Pradia has been hired as the top assistant at Gettysburg.  Pradia will be coming from Washington College.

Auburn - Montgomery:  Dan Davis has had the “interim” tag lifted and is now the full time head coach.  As Interim coach, Davis was the conference’s coach of the year.

Tennessee: Smyrna High’s girls coach Steve Willey has resigned.

Lafayette, IN:  Benton Central’s boys coach Kyle Spray has been named head coach at Western Boone.

Hilton Head, SC:  Greg Elliott, Hilton Head Island High’s boys coach is accepting the same position at Summerville High.

Tarentum, PA:  Fox Chapel has hired Zach Skrinjar and Meghan Meabon as it’s head coaches.

Gainesville, FL:  P.K. Yonge has rehired Willie Powers to run the girls team.  Powers comes back after Yonge fired Ash’lea Moore (who went 28-1 this season).  Powers was the coach until this past season, Moore’s only season as head coach.

Virginia Tech:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Va. Tech is expected to announce the hiring of Bill Courtney to fill an open assistant slot.  Courtney was on Dave Leitao’s staff at UVA and was hired less than two months ago by Shaka Smart at VCU.

Coast Guard Academy:  Long time head coach Pete Barry has announced his retirement.  With a record of 262-216 in his 19 years at the helm, Barry is the winningest coach in Coast Guard history.

Fairleigh Dickinson:  Assistant Greg Vetrone has been promoted to interim head coach.  The AD announced that Vetrone will serve in that capacity through next season.

Sioux Falls Sky Force: D-League Sky Force have promoted Tony Fritz to head coach.  Fritz served as an assistant the past two seasons.

USC: Multiple media outlets (including ESPN, FoxSports and Yahoo Sports) are reporting that USC head coach Tim Floyd has resigned.

Connecticut College:  Brian Wilson, associate head coach at Holy Cross, has been named head coach at Connecticut College.  Prior to Holy Cross, Wilson spent a few years coaching at Western Kentucky and actually had his first job at Connecitcut College at the beginning of this decade.

Liberty:  We hear Western Nebraska CC head coach Brian Joyce has accepted a position on Dale Layer’s staff at Liberty.  Joyce previously worked under Layer at Colorado St.

Fremont, OH:  The Lakota Raiders have hired Tim Walsh as the new boys coach.

Concord, MA:  Burlington boys coach Nick Papas has resigned and accepted the boys job at B,B&N in Cambridge.

Pryor, OK:  Chouteau has hired Charlie Knifechief as girls coach.

Morehead St.:  We hear Morehead St. associate head coach Barry Wortman will be leaving to accept a head coaching position at Oak Ridge High.

Robert Morris:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Robby Pridgen has been hired as an assistant.  Pridgen had been at Roanoke for the past three seasons.

Louisville: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Ralph Willard has decided to come to Louisville, leaving Holy Cross after 10 years at the helm.

Berry College: Berry has hired Stephanie Dixon as head coach.  Dixon comes from St. Pius X High in Atlanta where her teams won state championships 3 times in the last 6 years.

Coast Guard Academy: Sources tell BasketballScoop that the Coast Guard Academy plans to promote assistant Rick Gaines to the head spot.  Gaines has been an assistant for 10 years.

Quinnipiac:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Mountain MacGillivray is taking an assistant spot at Quinnipiac.  MacGillivray has been an assistant at New Hampshire for the past two seasons.  He is filling the spot opened by Kara Cassidy’s departure earlier this month to Penn.

South Florida: USF has hired Eric Skeeters as an assistant.  Skeeters has been an assistant at Towson since 2004.

Southwestern College (KS):  Head coach Doug Hall is leaving to accept the DBO role at Missouri - Kansas City.

Mercy College (NY): Mercy has hired Sean O’Connor as head coach.  O’Connor comes from the high school ranks in primarily in New York.

Chillicothe, OH:  Shawn Blue has been hired as girls coach at Chillicothe.  Blue comes from Amanda Clearcreek.

Spokane, WA:  North Central has hired Gabe Medrano as girls coach.  He was an assistant on the boys staff.

Jackson, MS:  Amanda Hatch has been named girls coach at Jackson Prep.  She was previously an assistant at Prep.

Dallas, TX: Tyrone Maxey is moving from A. Maceo Smith to Bryan Adams as boys coach.  Pinkston assistant John Burley is expected to replace Maxey at A. Maceo Smith.

VCU: Shaka Smart didn’t wait long.  We hear he has an agreement with Mike Jones to become an assistant.  Jones was at Georgia under Dennis Felton for years and previously coached at the Univ. of Richmond and at West Virginia.

Morrisville St.:  Sean Pinkerton is the new head coach at Morrisville.  Pinkerton comes from SUNY Canton where he was an assistant.

Pikeville College:  Head coach Kelly Wells has hired Brian Kloman as his top assistant.  Kloman was at D-III Daniel Webster college in the 2007-2008 season.

Lehigh: Antoni Wyche has been added to the staff.

UT Martin:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UT Martin has offered the head job to Kevin McMillan.  We expect to know tomorrow whether he will accept the job.  McMillan led Gibson County High to the state championship this season.

Franklin Pierce: FPU has promoted Steve Hancock to head coach and hired Jennifer Leedham as an assistant.  Leedham just finished her playing career at FPU where she was a four year starter and two time captain.  Hancock has been an assistant for the past few years and previously served as FPU’s head coach in the 80s and 90s.

UC Santa Cruz: Todd Kent has been named the new head coach, following the departure of Nikki Turner who is moving over to CSU East Bay as head coach.  Kent has been an assistant at Seattle for the past two seasons.

South Florida:  Former Kentucky assistant Jeremy Cox has been hired at South Florida, completing their staff.  Cox had spent the past four seasons with Billy Gillispie at Kentucky and A&M.

SMU:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that SMU has added Reggie Geary as an assistant.  Geary comes from Arizona.

UT Martin:  Sources have confirmed for BasketballScoop that Kevin McMillan has accepted the head job at UTM.

Bowling Green:  BGSU is looking for an assistant and is seeking applicants.

Northeastern:  We hear Northeastern is also seeking applicants for an assistant.

Detroit Shock:  ESPN is reporting that Bill Laimbeer is expected to step down today and they are expecting Rick Mahorn to be named head coach.  Strange timing from Laimbeer, although he has publicly stated a few times over the past year or two that he has been thinking about retiring.

Weber St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that head coach Carla Taylor has added Heath Alexander and Ashley Elliott as assistants.  Alexander was an assistant at Colorado St. and Elliott was a GA at Arizona St.

North Dakota:  Travis Brewster is being promoted to associate head coach.

Clemson:  Head coach Oliver Purnell has agreed to an extension through the 2015-2016 season which bumps his guaranteed income up to $1.35 M.

Boston College: Pat Duquette has been promoted to Associate head coach.

Cincinnati: Head coach Mick Cronin has received a two year extension.

SMU:  We hear Coach Doherty has also hired Reggie Brown from UT Arlington.

Northern State:  Don Meyer has hired former player Dan Magrino as an assistant.  Magrino was a GA at Georgia College last season.

Indiana River State College:  Mike Leatherwood is retiring.  He ends his career with 703 career wins, the most ever at a Florida Junior College.

Terre Haute, IN:  Clay City has hired Vance Edmonson as boys coach.  He was an assistant at Terre Haute South last season.

Scottsdale, AZ: Matt Harris is leaving Notre Dame Prep to take the boys job at Rancho Solano Prep.

Santa Ana, CA:  Nathan Call will be the new head boys coach at Yorba Linda High.  Brent Willis has been hired as boys coach at Fullerton replacing Bill Czech who has moved to Hope Internation Univ.

Burlington, MA:  Tom Lyons has been named boys coach at Burlington High.  Lyons, formerly an assistant, takes over for Nick Pappas who moved on to BB&N.

Orange, TX:  Don Newton is the new boys coach at West Orange-Stark High.

West Palm Beach, FL:  Okeechobee has named Bryan VanCamp the new boys coach.

Seattle, WA:  Lakeside has promoted Tavio Hobson to head boys coach.

Washburn:  Soureces tell BasketballScoop that Washburn has agreed to hire Dave Brown as an assistant.  Brown has been at Hutchinson CC for the past 2 seasons.

Nebraska Omaha:  Tyler Erwin has been hired as an assistant at UNO.  Erwin comes from Simpson College.

Lassen CC:  Women’s head coach Mark Nareau is moving over to coach the men’s team.

Las Vegas, NV:  Former UCLA all american and national champion Ed O’Bannon has accepted the head boys job at Henderson International School.

Albany, NY:  Bishop Maginn head coach Rich Hurley is stepping down to spend more time with his family.

Staten Island, NY:  Tony Rafaniello officially became the boys coach at Moore Catholic.

Munster, IN:  Kristy Hite has been hired as the new girls coach at Lake Station.

San Marcos, TX:  San Marcos High has hired David Norris as girls coach.

Louisiana Lafayette:  Head coach Robert Lee has hired Nate Dixon and James Williams as assistants.  Dixon comes from UNO and Williams has coached internationally and was a teammate of Lee’s in college.

Northern Illinois: We hear head coach Ricardo Patton has hired Todd Townsend as an assistant.  Townsend coached AAU this past season and has been a D-1 assistant before.

App. St:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Jason Capel is being eyed for an open slot as an assistant to Buzz Peterson at App. St.

Ashford U. (IA): Former player, Justin Jackson, has been hired as an assistant.

Akron: Head coach Keith Dambrot has received a 2 year extension through June 2016.

Arkansas Fort-Smith:  Ryan Price, an assistant at Gannon, has resigned to accept the same position at Fort-Smith.

Army:  Head coach Dave Magarity has hired Shandrika Lee-Gerch as an assistant.  Lee-Gerch comes from Cal Poly where she has been an assistant for the past 4 seasons.  She is replacing Nora Jabbour who took an assistant spot at Emory.

Akron:  Jodi Kest has received a three year extension through June 2014.

Louisiana Lafayette: We hear head coach Errol Rogers has hired Tomekia Reed as an assistant.  Reed has been at Jackson St. for the past few seasons.

Morehead St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Tomeka Brown has been hired at Morehead as an assistant.  Most recently, Brown served as Dir. of Basketball Ops at Cincinnati.

Wisconsin Green Bay:  UW-GB has promoted Jason Kalsow from DBO to an assistant.

Boston U: Brian Daly has been added to the staff as an assistant.  Daly comes from Monsignor Bonner HS in Philadelphia where he has been the head coach for the past 4 seasons.

USC Upstate:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Kyle Perry is expected to join the staff at Upstate.  Perry has been at SC State for the past two seasons.

Allentown, PA:  Dave Moyer has been named the girls coach at Pen Argyl.

Chicago, IL: Larry Hight has been let go at Larkin High where he was boys coach.

Union County, TN:  Union County HS has hired Shane Brown as boys coach.  Former coach Brian Jesse stepped down in May to take the job at Seymour.

Phoenix, AZ:  Scott Lovely has been hired to replace Mark Carlino as boys coach at Gilbert Highland High.  Lovely comes from Phoenix Arcadia.

Carroll Univ.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Dave Schultz, head coach of D-III Carroll, has resigned.

Canisius:  Head coach Tom Parrotta has hired Desmond Oliver as an assistant.  Oliver had been at the Univ. of Georgia for the past five seasons.

Texas St.:  Head coach Doug Davalos has hired Terrence Rencher as an assistant.  Rencher played for Univ. of Texas in the 90’s, spent about a decade playing internationally, and most recently served as a GA for Rick Majerus at St. Louis.

Coastal Carolina:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Cliff Ellis has hired Richie Riley to round out his staff.  Riley coaches at Pikeville last season and had agreed to coach at Arkansas Fort Smith; however we now hear he’ll wind up on the Coast.

Paris JUCO:  Tom Schuberth, former head coach at UTPA, has become the head coach of Paris.

Nebraska at Kearney:  Head coach Carol Russell has hired “Freddy” Yalden as an assistant, replacing Karin Nicholls who has resigned.  Yalden comes from Ripon College (D-III).

Pottsville, PA:  Pine Grove has hired David Archer III as boys coach.  Archer has been an assistant at Penn State Harrisburg.

San Bernardino, CA:  Fonda Wilson is the new girls coach at Colony.  Wilson takes over for Ed Taylor who led the Titans to back to back CIF championships and then announced his retirement.

Trenton, NJ:  Kelly Hutchinson has been hired as girls coach at Notre Dame.  She comes from Lawrenceville School where she was head coach.

Bellingham, WA:  Ferndale’s girls coach Pat Foley is resigning.

Seattle, WA:  Scott Collins has resigned as boys coach at South Whidbey High.

Sherman, TX:  Larry Nickell is the new girls coach at Texoma Christian.

Elon:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Jack Wooten, a former walk-on at UNC, is the new DBO at Elon.

Wake Forest: BasketballScoop has confirmed that Candice Jackson is leaving Richmond to take the assistant opening at Wake created when Amy Waugh left to go to Xavier.

Memphis:  Memphis has hired Brett Schneider an an assistant and Donease Smith as Dir. of Operations.  Schneider comes from UMKC and Smith from the Detroit Shock.

James Madison:  JMU has hired Lindsay Smith as an assistant.  Smith previously served as a coach (as well as a player) at App. St.

Dartmouth: Sources tell BasketballScoop that head coach Terry Dunn has added two to his staff.  Michael Brown and Mark Graupe both have become assistants.

Cal Poly:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Texas St. coach Omar Lowery has joined the staff at Cal Poly.

George Washington:  We hear that former Michigan coach Brian Ellerbe will be named a member of the George Washington staff soon.

Miami:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Frank Haith has added to new members to his staff.  Mike Summey will become DBO and Brett Burman will be a graduate manager.  Summey was the head coach at Bethany College this past season.

San Fransisco:  Jeff Linder has been promoted to Associate head coach by head coach Rex Walters.

North Park U.:  Chris Edquist has become an assistant.  He had been coaching high school ball.

Tulsa:  Tulsa has added two years to the contract of head coach Doug Wojcik which now runs through the 2014-2015 season.

Newberry:  Multiple sources have confirmed to BasketballScoop that Newberry plans to announce the hiring of Steve DeMeo as their new head coach.  DeMeo currently is an assistant at UCF where he has been for one season.

Ohio:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Ramon Williams has been added to the staff at Ohio U.  Williams had been at DePaul for the last four seasons.

App. State:  As we first told you last week, Buzz has officially hired Jason Capel as an assistant.

Bowie St: It took them a while to announce it; but again, as we reported earlier this month, Bowie St. has hired Darrell Brooks as head coach.

Seattle Pacific:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Grant Leep is going to SPU, leaving Eastern Washington where he has been for the past four seasons.

Nebraska Omaha: We hear Tyler Erwin, assistant at Simpson U., is moving to Omaha to serve as an assistant under Randall Herbst.

Arkansas Pine Bluff: We hear UAPB has selected assistant Cary Shelton to lead the program as the new head coach.

Tennessee Temple U.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Tenn. Temple has hired Kenrick Liburd (HS coach from Maine) as the new head coach.

Belen, NM:  Wally Salata is set to become the new boys coach at Rio Rancho High.

Port Arthur, TX:  Dr. Mark Honea has been announced as the new girls coach at Memorial High.  He spent this past season as Dir. of Ops at Lamar University.

Ravenna, OH:  Nordonia has promoted JV coach Matt Cash to head boys coach and has hired Gary Tipton as the girls coach.

Schenectady, NY: Gloversville head boys coach Don Landrio has retired.  He had been there since 1986.

Appalachian St.:  In addition to the hiring of longtime friend Heather Kearney (which we told you about weeks ago), head coach Darcie Vincent has also hired Andrea Gross and Kiesha Mack as assistants.  Gross comes down from Colgate where she has been for the past two seasons and Mack East Stroudsburg.

Georgetown:  Michael Brennan has joined the staff at Georgetown.  Brennan is replacing coach Burke.  Brennan spent the past two seasons at American and was with Coach Thompson at Princeton before that.

Detroit Mercy:  We hear Detroit is looking for a new DBO and is seeking applicants.

Gaithersburg, MD:  Riverdale Baptist has named Diane Richardson as girls coach, replacing Gina Miller who resigned.

Picayune, MS: Hancock County has hired Chris Biehl as boys coach.

Phily: Brandon Jones has been named boys coach at Germantown Friends.

Dakota Wizards (D-League):  Duane Ticknor is stepping down as head coach citing health reasons.

Canisius: Rob Norris has been promoted to Associate head coach.

Nevada:  Dennis Gates has been hired as an assistant.  Gates comes from Nothern Illinois.

Clemson:  We hear Clemson is looking to hire a Strength & Conditioning coach for Basketball.

Maryland Baltimore County:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UMBC has hired Jaclyn Goldbarg as an assistant.

Hawaii: Da Houl has been hired as Associate head coach. Serenda Valdez will also return as an assistant.

Clemson:  Marla Brumfield will join her former coach Cristy McKinney at Clemson as an assistant.  She is replacing Saudia Roundtree who accepted a position at North Texas.

Radford:  LaTanya Collins has been named an assistant at Radford.  Collins was the head coach at Saint Augustine in 2007-2008 and was scouting this past season.

Rhode Island:  We hear Tennessee Tech assistant Ashley Earley has accepted a position on Cathy Inglese’s staff.

Yale:  Dianne Nolan has been promoted to Associate head coach.

Evansville: Chris Hollender is returning to Evansville as an assistant.  Hollender has been at Army for most of this decade.

Furman:  Head coach Jeff Jackson has hired David Willson who had been on Elon’s staff for the past four seasons.

Wisc. Stevens Point:  We hear UWSP assistant Scott Anderson has resigned to accept a high school HC job.

Southwestern, IL:  Southwestern has hired Curt Berger as boys coach.

Bentonville, AR:  Jason McMahan has been announced as the new boys coach at Bentonville.  McMahan will be leaving Siloam Springs.

Pittsburgh, PA: Matt Clement, former big league pitcher, is now coaching at his alma mater.  Clement is the new boys coach at Butler Area HS.

Russelville, AR:  Dover has hired Len Harris, head coach at Perryville, as boys coach.

West Virginia: Mountain St. Academy has hired Rodney Crawford as boys coach.

Ole Miss:  Head coach Renee Ladner has received an extension through 2012.
