Vermont: Vermont assistant Steve Lanpher has been promoted to associate head coach.
Michigan St.: Shane Clipfell has been promoted to associate head coach. Julie Dombrowski has been named dir. of basketball ops and technology and Monique Govan has been made coordinator of bball ops. Tempie Brown has been added as an assistant.
Central Florida: UCF has provided head coach Joi Williams with a new four year contract that runs through the 2012-2013 season. UCF had one of their best seasons in recent memory this past year.
Arkansas St.: Sources tell BasketballScoop that assistant Sean Weibling is resigning to take a head coaching position at a high school in Texas.

Spokane, WA: Mt. Spokane has hired new boys and girls coaches. Greg Hannan is the new boys coach and Melissa Allen is the new girls coach.
Caldwell, ID: Vallivue girls coach Stu Sells has resigned.
Tyler, TX: Chris Grotemat has been named boys coach at Grace Community School. He previously held the same position at Harleton High.
Seymour, TN: Brian Jessie has been named boys coach at Seymour, leaving the same role at Union County.
Mt. Hebron, MD: Mt. Hebron girls coach Scott Robinson has stepped down as coach, although he is expected to remain at the school in some capacity.
Tampa, FL: Stephanie Crawford has been hired as the boys coach! Crawford has coached girls ball in the area for years and has AAU experience; but has never been a head boys coach before.
San Luis Obisbo, CA: St. Joseph High has announced that girls coach Ron Barba is being replaced with boys coach Ed Torres. The school has hired Tom Mott from Allan Hancock as the new boys coach and AD.

UVA: Sources tell BasketballScoop to look for Kentucky assistant Wendy Palmer to wind up back at her alma mater, UVA.
Minnesota Lynx: Don Zierden has resigned to join Flip Saunders staff with the Washington Wizards and assistant Jennifer Gillom has been promoted to head coach. We hear Gillom has added former Clemson head coach Jim Davis as an assistant as well.

Fairleigh Dickinson: FD has let long time head coach Tom Green go. After 26 seasons with the school, Green says he was “blindsided” by the decision. Multiple sources are quoting the AD as saying he doesn’t know if it will be his decision who to hire or if it will be his superiors’; the AD added that no decisions have been made. Strange.

UVA: Sources tell BasketballScoop that UVA will also bring Tim Taylor back as Associate head coach. Taylor coached at UVA earlier this decade; but has been coaching at the high school level for the past few seasons.
California U. of Pennsylvania: Cal U. has hired Mark Swasey as head coach. Swasey comes from Franklin Pierce U. where he served in the same capacity.
Alma College: D-III Alma announced that long time coach Charlie Goffnet is retiring; however he will stay on at the College in a special projects role and will continue to coach Golf.

UT Martin: Head coach Bret Campbell has resigned and is being replaced with assistant Jason James who has been on staff for seven years. The University and Campbell noted several times in the release that there were “questions regarding” and “decisions made” about the Summer camps run at the University that led to his resignation; however both claim that these issues should have no impact on the team or should lead to issues with the NCAA.
New Orleans Hornets: Sources tell BasketballScoop that assistant Kenny Gattison will not return next season.
Cal State Stanislaus: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Stanislaus will soon announce the hiring of Larry Reynolds as head coach. Reynolds is the former head coach at San Bernadino and Cal State Long Beach.
Binghampton: Head coach Kevin Broadus has received an extension through the 2013 - 2014 season.

Alabama Huntsville: Sources tell BasketballScoop that UAH is set to hire Roy Heintz as the new head coach. Heintz has been the head coach at Covenant College for most of this decade and also spent a few seasons at Florida St. as an assistant beginning in 2000.
West Virginia: We are hearing that Malikah Willis (assistant at Norfolk St.) will be named an assistant at WVU.

Auburn: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Auburn is close to hiring former South Carolina assistant Ken Potosnak. Potosnak left USC when Dave Odom retired at the end of the 2007-2008 season and was featured in a great article in ESPN the Magazine about how difficult it is to get back in once you’re out. Glad you made it back in.
Arizona: We hear Sean Miller has added Jamall Walker and Ryan Reynolds to his staff. Walker will serve as DBO and Reynolds will have an administrative position. Walker was at Ohio this past season and Reynolds was at Wake Forest.
Wisconsin Platteville: Sources tell BasketballScoop that UW-P plans to promote lead assistant Jeff Gard to head coach.
Colorado St.: Randy Baruth has been hired as DBO. Baruth comes from D-II Northern State.
Arkansas Fort Smith: Richie Riley and Hank Plona have been hired as assistants at UAFS. Riley comes from Pikeville College and will serve as Recruiting coordinator. Plona comes from Providence College where he was a GA.

UT Martin: Bret Campbell’s resignation was “forced” according to him. He says the University gave him 24 hours to decide whether he would resign and accept a severance package or be fired. All of this stems from Campbell depositing camp checks into his personal bank account (as opposed to the University’s).
Sacramento St.: Head coach Brian Katz has hired Ajay Riding as an assistant. Riding had been a GA at Fresno St. for the past two seasons. Riding also played for Katz at Delta.
Texas St.: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Texas St. is expected to hire former Centenary coach Rob Flaska as an assistant. Flaska was at Texas Southern this past season.
Gettysburg College: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Stuart Pradia has been hired as the top assistant at Gettysburg. Pradia will be coming from Washington College.

Hilton Head, SC: Greg Elliott, Hilton Head Island High’s boys coach is accepting the same position at Summerville High.
Tarentum, PA: Fox Chapel has hired Zach Skrinjar and Meghan Meabon as it’s head coaches.
Gainesville, FL: P.K. Yonge has rehired Willie Powers to run the girls team. Powers comes back after Yonge fired Ash’lea Moore (who went 28-1 this season). Powers was the coach until this past season, Moore’s only season as head coach.

Virginia Tech: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Va. Tech is expected to announce the hiring of Bill Courtney to fill an open assistant slot. Courtney was on Dave Leitao’s staff at UVA and was hired less than two months ago by Shaka Smart at VCU.
Coast Guard Academy: Long time head coach Pete Barry has announced his retirement. With a record of 262-216 in his 19 years at the helm, Barry is the winningest coach in Coast Guard history.
Fairleigh Dickinson: Assistant Greg Vetrone has been promoted to interim head coach. The AD announced that Vetrone will serve in that capacity through next season.
Sioux Falls Sky Force: D-League Sky Force have promoted Tony Fritz to head coach. Fritz served as an assistant the past two seasons.

Quinnipiac: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Mountain MacGillivray is taking an assistant spot at Quinnipiac. MacGillivray has been an assistant at New Hampshire for the past two seasons. He is filling the spot opened by Kara Cassidy’s departure earlier this month to Penn.

UT Martin: Sources tell BasketballScoop that UT Martin has offered the head job to Kevin McMillan. We expect to know tomorrow whether he will accept the job. McMillan led Gibson County High to the state championship this season.
Franklin Pierce: FPU has promoted Steve Hancock to head coach and hired Jennifer Leedham as an assistant. Leedham just finished her playing career at FPU where she was a four year starter and two time captain. Hancock has been an assistant for the past few years and previously served as FPU’s head coach in the 80s and 90s.
UC Santa Cruz: Todd Kent has been named the new head coach, following the departure of Nikki Turner who is moving over to CSU East Bay as head coach. Kent has been an assistant at Seattle for the past two seasons.

Wisconsin Green Bay: UW-GB has promoted Jason Kalsow from DBO to an assistant.
Boston U: Brian Daly has been added to the staff as an assistant. Daly comes from Monsignor Bonner HS in Philadelphia where he has been the head coach for the past 4 seasons.
USC Upstate: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Kyle Perry is expected to join the staff at Upstate. Perry has been at SC State for the past two seasons.

Allentown, PA: Dave Moyer has been named the girls coach at Pen Argyl.
Chicago, IL: Larry Hight has been let go at Larkin High where he was boys coach.
Union County, TN: Union County HS has hired Shane Brown as boys coach. Former coach Brian Jesse stepped down in May to take the job at Seymour.
Phoenix, AZ: Scott Lovely has been hired to replace Mark Carlino as boys coach at Gilbert Highland High. Lovely comes from Phoenix Arcadia.

Canisius: Head coach Tom Parrotta has hired Desmond Oliver as an assistant. Oliver had been at the Univ. of Georgia for the past five seasons.
Texas St.: Head coach Doug Davalos has hired Terrence Rencher as an assistant. Rencher played for Univ. of Texas in the 90’s, spent about a decade playing internationally, and most recently served as a GA for Rick Majerus at St. Louis.
Coastal Carolina: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Cliff Ellis has hired Richie Riley to round out his staff. Riley coaches at Pikeville last season and had agreed to coach at Arkansas Fort Smith; however we now hear he’ll wind up on the Coast.
Paris JUCO: Tom Schuberth, former head coach at UTPA, has become the head coach of Paris.

San Bernardino, CA: Fonda Wilson is the new girls coach at Colony. Wilson takes over for Ed Taylor who led the Titans to back to back CIF championships and then announced his retirement.
Trenton, NJ: Kelly Hutchinson has been hired as girls coach at Notre Dame. She comes from Lawrenceville School where she was head coach.

Cal Poly: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Texas St. coach Omar Lowery has joined the staff at Cal Poly.
George Washington: We hear that former Michigan coach Brian Ellerbe will be named a member of the George Washington staff soon.
Miami: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Frank Haith has added to new members to his staff. Mike Summey will become DBO and Brett Burman will be a graduate manager. Summey was the head coach at Bethany College this past season.
San Fransisco: Jeff Linder has been promoted to Associate head coach by head coach Rex Walters.
North Park U.: Chris Edquist has become an assistant. He had been coaching high school ball.
Tulsa: Tulsa has added two years to the contract of head coach Doug Wojcik which now runs through the 2014-2015 season.
