Memphis:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Memphis has hired Eric Sebastian as DBO.  Sebastian comes from the Denver Nuggets organization (as did friend Jack Murphy).

Bethany College: Holy Cross assistant Andrew Sachs has been named the new head coach at Bethany. Sachs replaces Mike Summey who has moved into the DBO role at Miami.

Texas - Arlington:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Greg Young, former head coach at Jacksonville College (TX - JC), has been hired as an assistant.

Tennessee:  Head coach Bruce Pearl has signed an extension through the 2014-2015 season.  Reports put the value at around $2.4 M per year.  The man can sing!?

Texas - Tyler:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that head coach Terri Deike will not return next year and that the school will make assistant Cassi Little “interim” HC.

Loyola - Baltimore:  We hear Abby Vaughan has joined the staff at Loyola.  Vaughan comes from Cal St. Northridge.

Tennessee Tech:  Head coach Amy Brown has stepped down.  The AD says a search will begin immediately.  Assistant Ashley Earley just announced recently that she was taking an assistant spot at Rhode Island.  Thus, the Golden Eagles will have a significant new look next season.

Ole Miss:  Sources tell BasketballScoop to look for former Rebel All-American Armentie Price to wind up filling the open slot on Renee Ladner’s staff.

Elon:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Elon has hired Will Roberson from Emory.  Roberson coached at Emory last season and worked at Clemson and and at Davidson prior to that.

Akron:  Head coach Keith Dambrot has made some moves.  To fill the open assistant spot, he has promoted DBO Rick McFadden and has brought in Dan Peters as the new DBO.  Peters comes over from Ohio St.

St. Francis (PA):  St. Francis has hired Chris Clark as an assistant to replace Abe Bamdus who has resigned.  Clark was a member of Temple’s 2008 A-10 championship team.

Southern Indiana: Head coach Rodney Watson has hired two assistants, Gerad Good and Derrick Tilman.  Good comes from IUPUI and Tilman from Kentucky Wesleyan.

Iona: Head coach Tony Bozzella has hired former Quinnipiac star and Mercy head coach Ashlee Kelly.  Kelly replaces Mandy Myers who resigned after seven years to start a career in education.

Holy Cross:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Holy Cross is expected to name Notre Dame associate head coach Sean Kearney as their new head coach within the next day or two.

Wichita St.:  Head coach Gregg Marshall has received a one year extension through April 2015.

Hawaii at Hilo:  Sad news to report, as assistant Hamilton Mayo has died in an apparent drowning while snorkeling.  Manley had been on staff since 2003 and served as an instructor at many camps and clinics in Hawaii.

UNC Wilmington:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that UNCW has hired Henry Dickerson as an assistant.  Henry has been at NC Central for the past 5 seasons.

Morehead St.:  Matt Grady has been named an assistant at Morehead.  Grady spent the past few years at Louisiville in an administrative role.

Kentucky: Head coach Matthew Mitchell has hired Shalon Pillow as an assistant.  Pillow spent this past season at Hofstra and was at South Florida before that.

Fayetteville St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that local high school coach Eva Patterson-Heath has been offered the head job.

Northern Iowa:  Adam Dejoode has been hired as an assistant.  Dejoode is a well known up and coming high school and select Team coach.

Alma College:  Alma has hired Keisha Brown as head coach following six highly successful seasons coaching the boys team at Sacred Heart HS.

Hillsboro, OR:  Nick Rizzo has been hired as girls coach at Liberty High.  Rizzo comes from Forest Grove where he was an assistant.

Birmingham, AL:  Nivada Spurlock is stepping down at Homewood High after more than a decade leading the girls program.  She will become the school district’s Wellness Coordinator.  Homewood has hired Chet Walker, the boys JV coach, to replace her.

Seattle Univ.:  Head coach Dan Kriley has been let go.  The University has announced plans for a “National Search”.  Kriley had his most impressive season this year going 10-0 at home and 20-9 overall.  He had been head coach for five seasons.

Illinois: Head coach Jolette Law has hired Lisa Cermignano from Vanderbilt as an assistant.  Cermignano replaces Karen Middleton who accepted the head job at Western Kentucky.

Missouri - KC:  Head coach Candace Whitaker has hired Bruce Erickson as Associate head coach.  Erickson has been at Okla. St. for the past three seasons as Dir. of Player Development.

Western New Mexico:  Head coach Greg Adams has hired Michelle Manfredi as an assistant.  Manfredi played in Germany this past season.

Seattle: Head coach Cameron Dollar has hired his father, Donald, as an assistant.  Donald has been coaching at Univ. of West Georgia for the past two seasons; however he has coached high school ball primarily in Georgia for over 40 years, winning multiple state championships along the way.

Notre Dame: Martin Ingelsby has been promoted to assistant coach following the departure of Sean Kearney to Holy Cross.  Ingelsby has been Coordinator of Basketball Ops for several years.

Union County, TN:  Shane Brown is the new boys coach at Union County, replacing Brian Jesse who accepted the same position at Seymour.

Warren, OH:  Ron Price has accepted the job as boys head coach at Mathews.  Price, formerly of Niles, follows Dan Campana who moved to Howland.

Lufkin, TX:  Kevin Hurley has been hired as the AD and boys coach at Central.  Hurley comes from Livingston.

Fletcher, NC:  Veritas Christian Academy’s boys coach John Jordan has resigned.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA:  Matt Hauser is the new girls coach at Santa Margarita High.

Hartwick College:  Todd McGuinness has been named head coach at Hartwick, replacing Paul Culpo who moved to Castleton St. College.

Eastern Nazarene:  Former Asbury head coach Jim Aller is the new head coach at Eastern Nazarene.  Aller spent this past season as an assistant at Indiana Univ. East.

St. Lawrence Univ.:  New head coach Dan Roiger has hired Lauren Sischo as an assistant.  Sischo was a team captain this past season as a player.

Crown College:  Bill Adamson has been hired as the head coach.  Adamson comes from Grand Rapids.

Campbell: Brian Burg has been named an assistant at Campbell.  Burg has served as the DBO at Middle Tennessee for the past two seasons.

Dickinson:  Alan Seretti has been named head coach at Dickinson.  Seretti has been the head coach at Penn State Altoona for the past four seasons.

Northeastern:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Antonio Reynolds-Dean has been hired as an assistant at Northeastern by head coach Bill Coen.  Reynolds-Dean was at Fairfield this season.

NC State:  Richard Barron, Baylor Associate HC, has been hired by Kellie Harper at NC State.  Prior to his time at Baylor, Barron was the head coach at Princeton for a number of years.  Barron fills the spot that was created when Walter Mebane recently resigned.

Arkansas Little Rock:  Head coach Joe Foley has announced the hiring of Robert Dallimore as Associate HC.  Dallimore comes up from Louisiana Monroe where he was Co-Associate HC.

Winthrop:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Winthrop head coach Bud Childers has hired Pam Brown as an assistant.  Brown has served as the coordinator of basketball ops at Miami for the past two seasons.

Mesa St.:  Mesa has hired Mary Doane as an assistant.  Doane is a highly accomplished high school coach at Durango High.

Texas A&M International:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that International has selected David Beaver as it’s new head coach.  Beaver has been at Sam Houston for the past two seasons.

Flagler College:  Erika Lang-Montgomery has been hired as head coach at Flagler.  This past season Lang-Montgomery was at North Texas as an assistant; and she had been at Wichita St. for the prior five seasons.

Fayetteville St.:  As we reported last week, Eva Patterson-Heath has been offered the job; our sources now tell BasketballScoop that she has accepted.  We expect an announcement today.

New Mexico St.:  We hear that head coach Darin Spence has hired Tony Giannotti as an assistant.  Giannotti coaches high school ball in Florida this past season.

Roanoke, VA:  Geoff McCulloch has been promoted from JV to Varsity boys coach at Pulaski County.

Tifton, GA:  Ken Austin has been hired at Turner County as the boys coach.  Austin replaces Eric Holland who has moved to Tift County.

UNC Greensboro:  Head coach Mike Dement has hired Corey Gipson as an assistant and has promoted Brian Judski to the number 2 spot.  Gipson had been at Virginia State for the last four seasons.

Jacksonville:  Head coach Cliff Warren has received a two year extension through the 2012-2013 season.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi:  Former Tennessee St. head coach Cy Alexander has been hired as associate head coach by Perry Clark at Corpus Christi.  The Islanders were 18-15 last season.

Northern Illinois:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that the Huskies have added former George Mason DBO Kent Dernbach as DBO.

Southwestern College (KS):  Matt O’Brien has been hired as head coach, replacing Doug Hall who previously accepted a staff position at UM-KC.  O’Brien has been the head coach at Central Christian U. for the past 3 seasons.

Baltimore, MD: Towson Catholic is closing it’s doors.  This school has produced some serious athletes; but will no longer as the school officially is closing this Summer.

New Britain, CT:  Fran Amara is the new boys coach at Lewis Mills High.

Norman, OK:  Westmoore’s boys coach Robert Foreman has stepped down, deciding to take the girls job at Mustang High to be able to spend more time with his family.

Tampa, FL:  Bill Barnett has resigned as boys coach.  Josh Walker will be the new coach.

Juniata College:  We hear the open assistant spot has been filled with the selection of Ramin Mazaheri.  Mazaheri has been part of the staff at Auburn for the past two seasons.

Richmond:  BasketballScoop has confirmed that head coach Michael Shafer has hired Ebony Tanner-Moore as an assistant.  Tanner-Moore, a Richmond alum, has been an assistant at Shaw University for the past 3 seasons.

Paris JC: Sean LeBeauf has been hired as the head coach.  LeBeauf has been a men’s assistant at Southern (LA) for the past 4 seasons.

Missouri - Kansas City:  Stephen Brough has been hired as an assistant at UMKC after serving as DBO at Baylor for the past 6 seasons.

Southern: Sean LeBeauf has resigned as an assistant to become the head women’s coach at Paris JC.

UC Santa Barbara:  Head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has hired Selena Ho as an assistant.  Ho previously has served as an assistant at Oregon and at UC Irvine.  Ho replaces Evan Unrau who accepted a position on the staff at Santa Clara.

Jacksonville College (TX - JC):  Amber Taylor has been named assistant coach.  Taylor moves over from Paris JC where she also was an assistant for the past 2 seasons.

Pfeifer:  We hear D-II Pfeifer might have an opening soon.

Northampton CC:  Kevin Foley has been named the new head coach at Northampton.  Foley has been head coach at Lehigh-Carbon CC for the past 4 seasons.

Tulane:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Shondra Johnson is likely to be hired as an Assistant at Tulane.  Johnson has been coaching at Tuscaloosa Academy in Alabama.

Fresno St.:  Head coach Adrian Wiggins has promoted Amy Parrish from coordinator of basketball ops to assistant coach.

Towson:  We hear Towson is seeking applicants for two open assistant spots.

Fairleigh Dickinson:  FDU has posted an open assistant spot as well.

Sacramento Monarchs:  We hear that GM John Whisenant has decided to step into the role of head coach and has let Jenny Boucek go.  At 3-10 this season, the Monarchs needed something.

Baylor:  Texas Tech’s associate head coach Bill Brock is moving back to Waco to become associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Baylor.

Union College (KY):  Head coach Kelly Combs has stepped down and new assistant Sean Gillespie has been named interim head coach for the upcoming season.  Combs cited “personal reasons”.  Gillespie came to Union in May from Sterling College where he was an assistant.

New Orleans Hornets:  Byron Scott has promoted Rob Werdann from scout to assistant.  Werdann has been in the organization since 2004.

Gordon College: Sources tell BasketballScoop that Gordon has hired Tod Murphy, the lead assistant at Cal-Irvine as it’s new head coach.

Cheyney U.:  Head coach Dominique Stephens has been given a three year extension.

Hampton:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Hampton has filled to two assistant spots with Barbara Burgess and Annitra Cole.  Burgess comes from Norfolk St. while Cole comes from North Carolina Central.

North Carolina Central:  We hear former South Carolina St. assistant Antonio Davis has accepted an assistant position at North Carolina Central.

Francis Marion:  We hear that Tiffay Tucker has been hired as an assistant at Francis Marion.  Tucker was an assistant at Radford this past season.

Longwood University:  Longwood has hired former Duke standout Wanisha Smith and AAU coach Mike Davis as assistants.

Sciotoville, OH:  The East Tartans will have their AD Adam Bailey coach the boys team this season.

Bellingham, WA:  Mike Ivy is the new coach of the Ferndale girls program.

Indianapolis, IN:  Basil Smotherman has been hired to lead the boys team at Heritage Christian.

Anderson, IN:  Highland High has a new boys coach.  Jason Delaney comes over from Southport High.

Panama City, FL:  Bryan Normand has been hired as girls coach at Arnold High.

Fayetteville, NC:  Phil Hart is no longer the boys coach at Pine Forest High.  AD says they will begin looking immediately.

Lewiston, ID:  Lewiston High has hired Corey Williams as it’s boys coach.  Williams has been the coach at Churchill County High in Fallon, NV for over a decade.

Providence: Head coach Keno Davis has received an extension after this, his first, season.  His new contract runs through the 2015-2016 season.

Georgia:  Head coach Mark Fox has finalized his staff with the hiring of a Dir. of Ops, a Coordinator of Ops and a Grad Asst.  Kent Davidson is the new DBO, Mark Pope the Coordinator and Todd Okeson is the GA.  Davidson has previously served as head coach of several D-League teams.  Pope played on the 96 National Champion Kentucky team and Okeson played at Nevada under Fox.

Waycross College:  Waycross, a Junior college in south Georgia, will have a team for the first time in the 2009-2010 season and has recently hired Cory Baldwin as their coach.  Baldwin has been the head coach at Truett-McConnell College in GA for the past 3 seasons.

SMU:  We hear there is an open assistant spot at SMU after Karen Blair took a position at Colgate.

York College:  We hear York, in Jamaica, NY, is looking for a new assistant and is seeking applicants.

Very sad to report that Coach Eberst of Delaware Hayes High has died.  His single engine plane crashed.  He was the only person on board.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Bluefield College:  Bluefield has hired Richard Morgan as it’s new head coach.  Morgan was an assistant at Appalachian St. the past three seasons.

Notre Dame:  We hear Harold Swanagan has been hired as Coordinator of Ops at Notre Dame.

Hobart College:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Russ Phillips has been hired as an assistant at Hobart.  Phillips was an assistant at Cortland this past season.

Texas-Pan American:  We hear UTPA has narrowed it’s finalists to John Craig Roden (West Georgia), Denny Downing (Texas A&M Commerce) and Taqueta Braxton (S.F. Austin assistant).

Newport News, VA:  Gloucester High has 2 new coaches.  The new boys coach is Christopher Morgan and the new girls coach is Charles Bibbs.

Fredericksburg, VA:  North Stafford has hired Brad Lear as the new boys coach.  He was an assistant at Forest Park High.

Reserve, LA: Chuck Dorvin has been named girls coach at Riverside Academy

Marion, OH:  Marion Catholic has hired Steve Flowers as the boys coach.  Former coach Al Thomas left to take the girls position at Ridgemont High.

North Carolina Central:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that head coach LeVelle Moton has hired former Duke player Robert Brickey as an assistant.  Brickey was on Duke’s women’s team staff this past season.

Akron:  Head coach Jodi Kest has hired for UVA assistant Curtis Loyd as Associate HC.  Loyd resigned from UVA in May after spending the last 5 seasons there.

Kaskaskia College:  KC has hired Leslie Weaver as head coach.  Weaver previously coached at Defiance College.

Southern Miss:  Head coach Joye Lee-McNelis is looking for help.  Assistant Brooke Stoehr has accepted the open assistant position at Texas Tech and we hear that DBO Caitlin Doyle is leaving as well.  Doyle is marrying St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jason Motte.

Georgia: Head coach Andy Landers has signed an extension through the 2013-2014 season.

Lafayette:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Lafayette head coach Fran O’Hanlon has hired Pat Doherty as an assistant.  Doherty played at Lafayette and coached at Williams this past year.

Idaho Stampede:  D-League Idaho has lost coach Bryan Gates to the Sacramento Kings where he will be an assistant.

USC:  We hear that Rudy Hackett, USC’s Basketball Strength coach, and father of player Daniel Hackett, is expected to leave the program.

Carroll College:  Head coach Brandon Veltri has hired his twin brother Brock as an assistant.  Brock comes from Seattle Pacific where he has been for five seasons.

Maine Red Claws:  D-League’s new team, Maine (Celtics) has a new coach we hear.  It is expected that Danny Ainge’s son, Austin will be named the first head coach of the new team within the next few days.  To our knowledge Ainge only has coached for one season at Southern Utah two seasons ago and has worked as a scout for the Celtics since.

Southeastern Univ. (FL):  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Daryle Tucker will soon be named the head coach at NAIA Southeastern in Lakeland, FL.  Tucker is a former assistant with the North Dakota men’s team.

North Carolina Central:  We hear that Leah Frierson has been named an assistant at North Carolina Central.  Frierson is the former head coach at Livingstone College.

Lourdes College:  Lourdes (OH) has hired Andre Smith to lead it’s inaugural basketball team.  Smith was an assistant at Thiel College in PA.

Cincinnati Christian:  We hear that Jason Gillespie has been hired as head coach and AD.  Gillespie has been at Bluefield for the past 4 seasons.

Gainesville, GA:  We hear Riverside Military Academy is looking for a new boys coach and is seeking applicants.  Please contact the school for further info.

UC Davis:  Head coach Gary Stewart has hired Brandon Laird as an assistant.  Laird has been at Menlo College for the past six seasons, the last three as head coach.

Fairleigh Dickinson:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that new head coach “Shoes” Vetrone has lured San Diego high school coaching legend Ray Johnson of El Camino High to FDU; however it might only be for one season.  Johnson has asked for, and received, a one year leave of absence from El Camino; under the promise that he will return.

Cornell College:  Head coach Mike DeGeorge has resigned to take a job in the business community.  DeGeorge has been the head coach at D-III Cornell in Iowa for the past 5 seasons.  The AD says a national search will begin immediately.

Air Force: Head coach Jeff Reynolds has brought Capt. Tom Bellairs in as an assistant.

Carroll Univ. (WI):  David Buchanan has been named head coach at Carroll U.  Buchanan was the head coach at Wisconsin-Superior for the past 2 seasons.

St. Edwards: Hudson Valley CC head coach Andre Cook has been named the new head coach at St. Edwards in Austin, TX.

East Tennessee St:  ETSU head coach Murry Bartow has been given an extension through the 2013-2014 season.

Syracuse:  We hear Gerry McNamara will serve as a GA for coach Boeheim this season.

Minnesota St. Moorhead:  We hear that Eric Peterson has been hired as an assistant.  Peterson was at Williston St. College this past season.

Drake:  We hear head coach Amy Stephens has hired former player Linda Sayavongchanh as an assistant.  Sayavongchanh was a GA at Minnesota-Duluth last season.

La Verne:  Head coach Julie Kline, who recently was promoted to AD, has announced that she will not coach this year and assistant Lindsey Shiomi has been named Interim head coach.

East Tennessee St.:  ETSU head coach Karen Kemp’s contract has been extended through the end of the 2012 season and assistant DeShawne Blocker has been promoted to Associate head coach.

Gannon:  D-II Gannon’s head coach Cleve Wright has had his contract extended through the 2011-2012 season.  Gannon was 26-5 overall this season and reached the D-II sweet sixteen.

Ferndale, WA:  Mike Ivy has been hired to replace Pat Foley as the head girls coach at Ferndale.

Alpharetta, GA:  Douglas Byrd is the new boys coach at Mt. Pigsah Christian.

Melbourne, FL:  Rob Apsey is the new girls coach at Melbourne High.

Watsonville, CA:  Monte Vista Christian has hired Dan Mooney as boys coach.

Savannah, GA: Jeff Grimes has been hired as the new boys coach of the Groves High Rebels.  Grimes comes from Tamasee-Salem HS in Salem, SC where he was AD and boys coach.

Virginia St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Virginia St. has named Donald Payton an assistant. Payton was the head coach at Clinton JC.

Hampton:  We hear that Darryl Sharp is a new assistant at Hampton.

Bowie St.:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that former Mt. Olive coach, Ahmad Dorsett is now an assistant at Bowie St.

Yorktown, IN: Blake Everhart has been promoted to head boys coach at Yorktown.

Louisville, KY:  Apparently Zach Henson will not become the new head boys coach at Madison High after withdrawing from the process (after having been selected).  The position is now considered open again.

Gilroy, CA:  Gilroy High School has selected Tim Jones to be the new girls coach.

Lake Erie College:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Lake Erie is set to promote Rob Williams from Grad. Asst to a full time assistant.

Texas Pan-American:  We hear that UTPA has selected Denny Downing as it’s new head coach.  Downing has been the head coach at D-II Texas A&M Commerce for the past 7 seasons.

Lamar:  Lamar (Beaumont, TX) is seeking applicants for an open assistant spot.

Blairstown, NJ: North Warren’s new boys coach will be Kevin Moore.

Greensboro, NC:  We hear that Ryan Freeman, head coach at New Bern, will become the next boys coach at Northern Guilford.

Parkersburg, OH:  David Parsons has been hired as the new boys coach at Belpre.

Tampa, FL:  John Edwards has resigned as girls coach at Pasco.

West Florida:  Multiple news outlets are reporting that former Pensacola JC head coach Bob Stinnett will be named the new coach at West Florida today.

Sierra Vista, AZ:  Mike Bunnell has left Tombstone High to become the AD at Bisbee.  Robert MacKenzie has replaced Bunnell as girls coach at Tombstone.  Bunnell says that he is hopeful that Doug Danforth will accept the girls job at Bisbee.  Danforth was an assistant last year.

Charlotte, NC:  Garinger High has hired former Mallard Creek boys coach Dwight Miller as head boys coach.  Former Vance assistant Ben Laster is the new Mallard Creek boys coach; and Mallard Creek also has a new girls coach in Clarence “CJ” Johnson.

Nevada: Head coach Jane Albright has added Heather Cusick to her staff as DBO.  Cusick played at Miami of Ohio and has worked at Ball St. amongst other spots.

Western Nebraska CC:  We hear that Russ Beck has been named the new head coach at WNCC.  Beck was an assistant at the College of Southern Idaho this past season.

Wake Forest:  Assistant Mike Muse has decided to pursue other coaching and eduactional opportunities and has resigned from Wake Forest.  The hiring earlier this summer of Rusty LaRue and Dave Wojcik had forced Muse back into an Ops / player development role.

Gannon: Tim Fralick has been hired as an assistant at Gannon.  Fralick spent the last five seasons at Ashland as an assistant under Roger Lyons.

Catawba Valley CC:  Andy Anderson has been named head coach at CVCC.

Dickinson St.:  Head coach Gus Fridley has resigned to take a high school AD position.  The AD said that he would soon announce the plans for a search.

Westwood, KY: Fairview High School boys coach Rex Cooksey has resigned.  We hear that his son Derek is expected to be named head coach; although the school has to go through the process.

Ocala, FL:  Phillip Small has been hired as the new boys coach at Vanguard.  Small has been an assistant at Leesburg for the past 3 seasons.

Elgin, IL:  Deryn Carter has been named the new boys coach at Larkin.

Warren, NJ:  Phillipsburg High has a new girls coach in Nicole Savino.

Univ. of Texas at Tyler:  UT Tyler has named Stasha Richards head coach.  Richards has been the head coach at Fort Scott CC for the past few seasons.

Central Flordia:  Former USF coach Robert McCollum has been hired as an assistant at UCF.  After his time at USF, McCollum spent some time with Eddie Sutton at San Francisco as welll.

Baton Rouge CC: BRCC has hired local high school coach Todd Foster as head coach.  Foster was the head coach at Christian Life Academy and led his teams to three consecutive state championships from 06-08 and an appearance in the state semi-finals this past season.

McDonald, PA:  Brent Fleissner has been named the boys coach at Fort Cherry High.

St. Cloud, MN:  Mike Trewick is the new boys coach at St. Cloud Tech.  He replaces Randy Jordan who accepted the same position at Stillwater.

Salem, IL:  We hear that the Selmaville Rockets will have a new coach next year in Doug Jones.

Bristol, TN:  Jimmy Brown is the new girls coach at Holston.

Vanderbilt:  Tom Garrick, former U. of Rhode Island head coach, has been hired as an assistant to fill out Melanie Balcomb’s staff.

Berea College:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Berea College has hired Terence Brooks as their new head coach.  Brooks will be replacing former head coach Bunky Harkleroad who accepted the job at Glenville St. earlier this Summer.  Brooks has been a highly successful high school coach.

Pratt Community College:  We hear that Stephanie Shanline has hired Patrick Harrsion as an assistant for the upcoming season.  Harrison has been at Friends Univ. for the past two seasons.

IUP:  We have been told that Jerod Alltop, former Glenville St. asst., has been hired at IUP as an assistant to head coach Jeff Dow.

Towson:  Head coach Pat Kennedy has hired Allen Edwards and Danny Nee as assistants.  Nee most recently served as director of player development at Rutgers and is the former Nebraska head coach.  Edwards is a former Morehead St. and VCU assistant.

Clarkson Univ.:  Mark Gilbride has been announced as the new head coach at Clarkson.  Gilbride was on the staff at Yale this past season.

Dominican U.:  We hear that Sam Hargraves has been named an assistant at Dominican.  Hargraves was at Lawrence U. this past season.
