Dakota Wesleyan: Shane Murphy has been hired as the new head coach.  Murphy was a recruiter for the Principal Financial Group in Sioux Falls, S.D. for the past two years, but prior to that he led the University of Sioux Falls men’s basketball program.

Miami (OH): Jimmy Lallathin has been promoted to assistant coach.  Lallathin had been the director of operations for the past two seasons.

George Washington: Head coach Karl Hobbs has announced the hiring of Donyell Marshall as assistant coach.  Marshall comes from the Philadelphia 76ers, where he was the pre-game and post-game analyst last season.  Marshall retired from a 15-year NBA career in 2009.

Texas-San Antonio: Head coach Brooks Thompson has received a contract extension through the 2014-15 season.

Midwestern State: Christopher Reay has been hired as an assistant coach.  Reay played for MSU from 2005-08 and comes from the New Zealand National Basketball League where he played professionally the past two seasons.

Chaminade: Bobby Keanini has been hired as the new head coach.  Keanini last coached in 2007 with Roosevelt High School (HI).

UConn: Kevin Ollie and Glen Miller have officially been added to the staff.  Ollie will replace Patrick Sellers as an assistant coach, and Miller will be director of basketball operations replacing Beau Archibald.

Wingate University:  Akeem Miskdeen has been hired as an assistant.  Miskdeen was an assistant at Mount Olive.

Mississippi State: Phil Cunningham has been promoted to associate head coach and Marcus Grant has been promoted on the coaching staff as well.  Cunningham has been at Mississippi State for ten seasons and Grant has been with the Bulldogs for the past four seasons.

Binghamton: Ron Brown has been hired to the coaching staff.  Brown comes from Fairleigh Dickinson where he was the associate head coach for the past eight seasons.

Kent State: Jordan Mincy has been hired as an assistant coach.  Mincy comes from South Carolina, where he was a graduate assistant last season.  Mincy played at Kent State from 2005-09.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks have added a job opening for a new administrative position on the basketball staff.  The official title is Director of Student Athlete Development and some of the duties are assisting with the student athlete development program specifically related to men’s basketball student athletes and designing and implementing programs that will focus on “off-the-court” development from a student athlete’s perspective.  This job will mainly focus off the court and deal with mentoring and developing the Arkansas players.

Florida Gulf Coast University: Abby Scharlow has been named assistant coach.  Scharlow comes from Valparaiso where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

UT-Chattanooga: Katie Galloway has been hired as an assistant coach.  Galloway comes from Ringgold High School where she was an assistant coach the past three years.

Penn State Abington: Chris Potash has been named the new head coach.  Potash comes from the University of the Sciences (PA) where he was an assistant coach the past two seasons.

Green Bay: Head coach Matt Bollant has announced that Mike Divilbiss has been promoted to associate head coach.  Divilbiss will be entering his third year with Green Bay.

South Florida: Head coach Stan Heath has received a contract extension through 2015.

Itawamba Community College: Robin Porter has been hired as an assistant coach.

East Central University (OK): Charles Terry has been hired as an assistant coach.  Terry most recently served as head basketball coach at Lincoln (MO) for six years.

St. Augustine’s College (NC): Head coach Lonnie Blow, Jr. has resigned and accepted a position at Old Dominion as an assistant.  Blow was the head coach for the past two seasons.

West Virginia: Assistant coach Larry Harrison has been named associate head coach.  Harrison has been an assistant with the Mountaineers for the past three seasons.

Union University (TN): Trevor Lydic has been hired as an assistant coach.  Lydic comes from Pearl River Community College (MS), where he was an assistant the past three seasons.

Lycoming College: Kevin Funston has been named director of basketball operations and video coordinator. He served as a manager for the University of Pittsburgh for the past four seasons and was head manager the past two seasons.

Cornell: Head coach Bill Courtney has hired Ricky Yahn as an assistant.  Yahn comes from George Mason, where he was the video coordinator last season.

Xavier: Rasheen Davis has been hired as an assistant coach.  Davis comes from Pittsburgh, where he worked in an operations role the past two seasons.

St. Bonaventure: Steve Curran has been named an assistant coach.  Curran comes from Central Connecticut, where he was an assistant the past five seasons.

North Dakota State: Ali Prichard has been promoted from director of operations to assistant coach.

Yale: Allison Guth has been named an assistant coach.  Guth comes from Depaul, where she was the director of basketball operations the past two seasons.

Central Florida: Assistant coach Courtney Locke has been promoted to recruiting coordinator.  This will be Locke’s third season with UCF.

Marshall: Head coach Royce Chadwick has announced the hiring of Deidra Johnson as an assistant coach.  Johnson comes from Chipola College (FL) where she was an assistant the past two seasons.

Crown College (MN): Luke Herbert has been named the new head coach.  Herbert comes from Convent College (TN), where he was an assistant coach last season.

East Mississippi CC: Billy Begley has been hired as an assistant coach.  Begley comes from Nicholls State, where he was an assistant last season.

Cincinnati:  Darren Savino has been hired as an assistant.  Savino spent the last four seasons on the staff at Rutgers and was named interim head coach there after Fred Hill was let go (eventually replaced with Mike Rice).

Tennessee:  Former Appalachian State head coach Houston Fancher has joined Bruce Pearl’s staff as Director of Video Scouting.

Arkansas-Little Rock: Chris Lowry has been hired as the Director of Basketball Operations.  Lowry comes from Lamar Community College (CO), where he was an assistant coach last season.

Mercy College (NY): Adam Parmenter has moved from assistant coach to head coach.  Parmenter has been an assistant coach for the past two seasons.

Pittsburgh: Mallorie Winn has been hired as an assistant coach.  Winn comes from Saddleback College (CA), where she was a volunteer assistant last season.

Princeton: Charisse Mapp has been hired as an assistant coach.  Mapp comes from the Mount Zion Christian Academy, where she was the head coach and ran basketball clinics in the area.

George Washington: Kerishe Allen has been named the team’s Director of Basketball Operations. Allen joins the women’s basketball staff after four years as an undergraduate team manager for GW’s men’s basketball program.

Palomar College (CA): Ray Johnson has been hired as the new head coach.  Johnson comes from Fairleigh Dickinson, where he was an assistant on the men’s basketball team last season.

Centenary (NJ): Mona Ressaissi has been named co-head coach.  Ressaissi comes from Mount Olive High School (NJ), where she was a junior varsity and assistant varsity coach the past two seasons.

Ball State: Ron Oliver has been hired as Director of Basketball Operations.  Oliver was a volunteer assistant at Franklin Central High School (IN) last season.  Oliver was recently an assistant coach for the Detroit Pistons for two seasons until 2009.

Manhattan: Scott Adubato has been hired as an assistant coach.  Adubato comes from Seton Hall, where he was an assistant the past three seasons.

Florida Southern College: Kenyan Weaks has joined the staff as an assistant coach.  Weaks comes from Marshall, where he was a part of the staff last season.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi: Kim Lewis has been hired as an assistant coach.  Lewis comes from Tulane, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Manhattan: Scott Padgett has been named an assistant coach.  Padgett has been an eight-year NBA veteran and former University of Kentucky standout.  Padgett comes from Kentucky, where he was on the staff last season.

Nicholls State: Rennie Bailey has been hired as an assistant coach.  Bailey comes from Cedar Creek High School (LA), where he was an assistant.

Macomb CC (MI): Jim Twigg has been hired as the new head coach.  Twigg comes from Grosse Pointe High School (MI), where he was the head coach the past three seasons.

Hendrix College (AR): Emily Cummins has been hired as the new head coach.  Cummins comes from LaGrange College (GA), where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

St. Bonaventure: Tiara Johnson has been hired as the new Director of Basketball Operations.  Johnson just finished playing with St. Bonaventure last season.

Southern Connecticut: Michael Makubika has been named an assistant coach.  Makubika comes from Post University (CT), where he was an assistant last season.

Ancilla College (IN): Greg Neeley has been hired as the new head coach.  Neeley comes from Piedmont College (GA), where he was the top assistant the past three seasons.

Georgia State: Megan Darrah has been named director of basketball operations.  Darrah was a four-year letter winner at Georgia and recently played overseas in Spain.

Prairie View A&M: Dawn Brown has been named an assistant coach.  Brown comes from Tougaloo College (MS), where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

University of San Francisco: Michael Lee has been hired as an assistant coach.  Lee comes from Gardner-Webb, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

University of Seattle: Yasir Rosemond has been hired to the staff as an assistant coach.  Rosemond comes from Oregon, where he was on the staff for the past five seasons.

Pfeiffer: Oderra Jones and Chris Cline have been hired as assistant coaches.  Jones comes from Sam Houston State, where he was on the staff the past two seasons.  Cline comes from Columbia College (CA), where he was an assistant last season.

Pima CC (AZ): Roderick Gary has been named the head coach.  Gary is currently employed full-time at the college as the program manager of PCC’s Information Center and the College’s outreach team.

North Dakota: Head coach Brian Jones has announced the hiring of Nate Philippe as an assistant coach.  Philippe comes from York University, where he was an assistant last season and was also the associate head coach at the Regional Elite Development Academy in Hamilton, Ontario.

Academy of Art University (CA): Brian Rodgers has been hired as an assistant coach.  Rodgers comes from Humboldt State, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

New Mexico: Steve Alford has received a ten year contract extension with the Lobos.

Georgetown: Head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy has signed a contract extension through the 2014-15 season.

Alaska Fairbanks: Jason Nichols has been named an assistant coach.  Nichols comes from the College of Southern Idaho, where he was an assistant last season.

Bismarck State: Kylee Wilson has been named the new head coach.  Wilson comes from Caldwell College (NJ), where she was the associate head coach last season.

New York University: Stephanie Marciano has been hired as an assistant coach.  Marciano comes from Bucknell, where she was an assistant last season.

Oregon State: Mark Campbell has been appointed the first assistant coach for head coach Scott Rueck.  Campbell comes from St. Mary’s College, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Maritime College (NY): Dick Hack has been named the new head coach.  Hack has been the director of athletics at Maritime College since 2008.

Rhode Island: Dan Szramowski has been promoted to director of operations.  Szramowski has been Rhode Island’s video coordinator the past two seasons.

Drake: Jamie Andrisevic has been promoted to Program Coordinator and Mark Owens has been promoted to Administrative Assistant.

TCU: Ebony Shaw has been hired as the director of operations.  Shaw comes from Dunbar High School (TX), where she was the head coach the past two seasons.

Wallace State (AL): John Meeks has accepted the position of head coach.  Meeks comes from Louisburg College (NC), where he was the head coach the past two seasons.

Dakota County Technical College (MN): Jay Pivec has been named the new head coach.  Pivec comes from Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MN), where he was the head coach since 1990.  

North Dakota: John Motherwell has been hired as an assistant coach.  Motherwell comes from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he was an assistant the past four seasons.

LSU: Angela Jones has been named director of operations.  Jones comes to LSU after serving as a sales representative for Abbott Laboratories in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for two years.

Montana State-Northern: Head coach Chris Mouat has announced the hiring of Juliann Keller as assistant basketball coach.  Keller was most recently head girls’ basketball coach at Fort Benton (MT).

George Fox University (OR): Michael Meek has been hired as the new head coach.  Meek replaces Scott Rueck, who became the head coach at Oregon State.  Meek comes from Southridge High School (OR), where he was the head coach the past ten seasons.

Jackson CC (MI): Steve Finamore has resigned as head coach.  Finamore has been the head coach at JCC since 2007.  Finamore has accepted the boys basketball coaching job at East Lansing HS.

Davenport University (MI): Head coach Burt Paddock has announced the hiring of Taylor Langley and Craig Heatherly as assistant coaches.  Langley comes from Eaton Rapids High School, where he was an assistant coach last season.  Heatherly finished his college career last season with UMass-Lowell

Canada College (CA): Phillip White has accepted the job as assistant coach.  White comes from Menlo-Atherton HS (CA), where he was the head coach the past three seasons.

Washington College: Robert Hughes has been named an assistant coach.  Hughes comes from Drew University (NJ), where he was an assistant coach the past two seasons.

Pfeiffer University (NC): Michael Gilroy has been hired as an assistant coach.  Gilroy comes to Pfeiffer after spending quality time with AAU basketball programs in Virginia and coaching at George Mason High School in Falls Church, VA.

College of the Sequoias (CA): Luke Vidak is out as the head coach.  COS athletic director Lamel Harris confirmed the decision Tuesday saying the school and Vidak agreed on a “mutual decision” to “go another way” with the program.  The Giants finished the 2009-10 season 16-12 overall, losing in the first round of the postseason, a year after going 16-13 overall. The Giants earned a playoff berth for the first time in five seasons.

Ferris State (MI): Kurt Westendorp has been hired as an assistant coach.  Westendorp comes from Albion College (MI), where he was an assistant coach the past three seasons.

Penn State: Tulyah Gaines has been hired as the director of basketball operations.  Gaines comes from San Bernadino Valley College, where she was an assistant last season.

Covenant College (GA): Corey Mullins has been hired as the new head coach.  Mullins comes from Kentucky Christian College, where he was the head coach on the men’s team the past two seasons.

Georgia College & State University: Head coach Maurice Smith has announced the hiring of Toby Wagoner as an assistant coach.  Wagoner moves over from the men’s team, where he was a graduate assistant last season.

Centenary: Justin LeBlanc has been named an assistant coach.  LeBlanc comes from Millsaps College, where he was an assistant the past four seasons.

Enterprise State CC (AL): Wesley Person has been fired as the head coach.  Person was entering his second year as head coach.

Binghamton: Julius Smith has been hired as an assistant coach.  Smith last comes from the University of District of Columbia, where he was the head coach for four seasons (2005-2009).

Sacred Heart (CT): Head coach Ed Swanson has announced the hiring of Jen Wedo as an assistant coach.  Wedo comes from Lafayette, where she was an assistant last season.
