Bemidji State (MN): Assistant coach Jeremy Tiers is leaving the program to be closer to his family and pursue a coaching career in Indiana.  Tiers has been at Bemidji State since 2006.  Ryan Montgomery has been appointed to the assistant coach position.  Montgomery had been the graduate assistant the last two seasons.

Vincennes University (IN): Todd Franklin has been named the new head coach.  Franklin comes from Southeastern Illinois College, where he was the head coach the past thirteen seasons.

Jacksonville College (TX): Jody Bailey has been hired as the new head coach.  Bailey comes from Colorado, where he was the director of basketball operations the past three seasons.

Fordham: Jack Eisenmann has been hired as an assistant coach.  Eisenmann comes from UConn, where he was the director of basketball operations the past nine seasons.

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs: Corey Laster has been hired as the new head coach.  Laster comes from Bucknell, where he was an assistant the past three seasons.

Georgia State: Adrienne Shular and Jocelyn Wyatt have been hired as assistant coaches.  Shular and Wyatt both come from East Carolina, where both were assistants the past two seasons.

Iowa State: Elwyn McRoy has been hired as an assistant on Fred Hoiberg’s staff at Iowa State.  McRoy comes from Arkansas State, where he has been an assistant the since 2008.

Western Michigan: David Kool has been hired as an undergraduate assistant.  Kool is WMU’s all-time leading scorer.  Kool will spend the first semester student teaching at Galesburg Elementary for the first eight weeks and then at Comstock High School for the next eight weeks, but will be available for staff meetings and other events as his schedule permits.

Rogers State: Michael Cyprien has been hired as an assistant coach.  Cyprien comes from coaching one season with the AAU Team Shockas Boys (15 and under) in Hammond, La. under Head Coach Chris Reed.

Enterprise State Community College: Head women’s coach Charles Cole will also coach the men’s team.  Cole has been the head women’s coach the past five seasons.  Jermaine Williams will join the new coaching staff as the assistant head coach for men’s basketball. Williams has previously served head coach for the Enterprise Thunder AAU Team.  In addition, Charles Medley and Doug Alexander will serve as volunteer assistant coaches for both basketball teams. They previously served as volunteer assistant coaches for the women’s basketball team.

Chico State: Audi Spencer has been hired as the new head assistant coach.  Spencer spent last season playing professionally for the Union Kuenring Flames of the Austrian Basketball League, First Division.

Temple: Stacey Nasser has been hired as Director of Operations.  Nasser has been a graduate assistant at Temple the past two seasons.

Louisville: Laura Terry has been named a student assistant coach this season.  Terry took a medical hardship this season after having extensive surgery to her knee over the last two years.

DePaul: Head coach Doug Bruno has signed a contract extension through the 2016-17 season.  Bruno will be entering his 25th season with the Blue Demons.

Fairleigh Dickinson: Millette Green and Mercedez Walker have been hired as assistants and Jennifer Walkling has been hired as a graduate assistant.  Green comes from IUPUI, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.  Walker has been promoted to assistant coach after being a graduate assistant last season.  Walkling comes from a two year professional career overseas.

Duquesne: Rodney Crawford has been hired as an assistant coach.  Crawford come from The Academy at Mountain State University (WV), where he was the director of student operations and head basketball coach last season.

Ferris State (MI): Andy Bronkema has been named an assistant coach.  Bronkema has been a volunteer assistant the past three seasons.

Lewis-Clark State: Austin Johnson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Johnson comes from Western Illinois, where he was a graduate assistant the past two seasons.

George Washington: Roland Huston has been promoted to Associate Head Coach.  Huston is entering his sixth year at George Washington.

Evergreen State: Arvin Mosley has been named the head coach.  Mosely has been out of basketball for two years.  He last spent five seasons as the head coach at Tacoma Community College.

Rhode Island College: Chris Burns and James Sorrentine has been hired as assistant coaches.  Burns spent last season as an assistant for the Manchester Millrats of the semi-professional Premier Basketball League (PBL).  Sorrentine comes from St. Michael’s College, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Duquesne: Rachel Wojdowski has been hired as director of women’s basketball operations.  Wojdowski comes from Township High School, where she was an assistant coach.

St. Joesph’s: Katie Gardler has been named director of women’s basketball operations.  Gardler is a Hall of Famer at St. Joseph’s.

Seattle University: Head coach Cameron Dollar has received a contract extension.  Details of the contract were not released by the university.

Samford: Megan Wilderotter has been hired as an assistant coach.  Wilderotter has been a player at Samford the past five seasons.

Arkansas-Little Rock: Rebecca Chilton Peoples has been named the director of basketball operations.  Peoples comes from Arkansas State, where she was an assistant the past eight years.

University of Illinois at Springfield: Ben Wierzba has been named the new head coach.  Wierzba come from Evansville University, where he was an assistant.

Post University: Jim DiNello has been hired as an assistant coach.  DiNello comes from Southington HS, where he was the head girl’s basketball coach.

Rhode Island: Marnie Dacko has been hired as an assistant coach.  Dacko comes from Massachusetts, where she was the head coach the past eight years.

Wright State: Katrina Merriweather has been hired as an assistant coach.  Merriweather has been assistant coach at Purdue, UIC and Cincinnati.

Wisconsin: Lamont Paris has been added as an assistant at Wisconsin.  Paris comes from Akron, where he was an assistant the past six seasons.

UL-Lafayette: Head coach Bob Marlin is close to hiring Kevin Johnson as an assistant coach.  Johnson comes from UL-Monroe, where he was an assistant coach last season.

Alaska Fairbanks: Eric Stang has been hired as an assistant coach.  Stang comes from Providence, where he was on the administrative staff.

St. Paul’s College: Gwendolyn Jackson has been named head women’s basketball coach.  Jackson has been an assistant coach at St. Paul’s since 2008.

Delaware: Mark McCaleb has been hired as an assistant coach and Allie Fedorowicz has been hired as director of basketball operations.  McCaleb comes from the University of Bridgeport, where he was the head coach the last six seasons.  Fedorowicz just finished her playing career at Cornell where she was a co-captain this past season.

College of Southern Idaho: Nakeya Isabell has been hired as a volunteer assistant.  Isabell was a key member of the 2004-05 CSI squad that took second at the NJCAA Tournament.

Fresno State: Brett Frank has been promoted to Associate head coach.  Frank has been an assistant since 2005.

Niagara: Corinne Jones has been hired as an assistant coach.  Jones comes from Buffalo, where she was an assistant the past two years.

Maine: Head coach Cindy Blodgett has received a two-year extension. Blodgett is entering her fourth season as head coach.

Columbia: Nicole Louden has been added to the staff as an assistant coach.  Louden is a current member of the Jamaican national basketball team.

UL-Monroe: Robert Lee has been hired as an assistant coach.  Lee comes from Louisiana-Lafayette, where he was the head coach the past six seasons.

South Alabama: Paul Johnson has been named men’s basketball assistant coach.  Johnson comes from Mercer, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Mount Union: Sam King and Jeremy Basham have been hired as assistant coaches.  King recently graduated from Mount Union and Basham comes from South Mountain College (AZ), where he was an assistant coach last season.

Morehead State: Adam Howard has been promoted to assistant coach.  Howard was the graduate manager and part of the program the past two seasons.

Arkansas-Fort Smith: Hank Plona has resigned after his arrest on drunk driving related charges.  Before Arkansas-Fort Smith, he spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Providence.

East Tennessee State:  Samford assistant Thomas Johnson has accepted an assistant position at ETSU.  We hear the position at Samford has yet to be filled.

Saint Augustine’s College: Erasto Hatchett and Johnny White have been hired as assistant coaches.  Hatchett comes from Word of God Christian Academy, where he was the men’s varsity basketball coach.  White comes from Hawaii, where he was the video coordinator.

Colgate: Ryan Bigelow has been hired at the director of basketball operations.  Bigelow comes from Central Michigan, where he was a student assistant the past two seasons.

University of Evansville: Carson Harris has been promoted to assistant coach, and Lucious Wagner has joined the staff as director of basketball operations.  Harris was the director of basketball operations last season.  Wagner played one year in Holland, Finland and the Czech Republic, and split a season playing in Lebanon and Iceland.  He settled last year in Anderson, Ind., where Wagner began his own business, Wags Basketball & Fitness, LLC.

Alma College: Charlie Goffnett has been hired as the interim head coach.  Goffnett was an assistant last season.

DePaul: Nicci Hays-Fort has been promoted to associate head coach.  Hays-Fort has been at DePaul since 2006.

Maine: Head coach Cindy Blodgett has received a contract extension through 2012-13.  Blodgett has been the head coach since 2007.

Southeastern Illinois College: Justin LaReau has been hired as the new head coach.  LaReau comes from South Alabama, where he was an assistant last season.

Toledo: Head coach Tricia Cullop have agreed to a contract extension through the 2017-18 campaign.  Cullop is entering her third season as head coach.

Western Kentucky: Andrew Theokas has been hired as director of basketball operations.  Theokas comes from Marlboro High School (NJ), where he was the head coach last season.

Duke: Head coach Joanne P. McCallie has received a contract extension through the 2016-17 season.  McCallie is entering her fourth season as head coach.

IUPUI: Head coach Shann Hart has been dismissed.  Hart, who was hired in 2004, will be paid for the remainder of her contract, which expires May 31, 2013.

Fairleigh Dickinson: Bob Leckie has been hired as associate head coach.  Leckie was the Head Coach at St. Peter’s for six years (2000-06), where he had two 17-win seasons with the Peacocks.

IUPUI:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that Austin Parkinson has been named the new head coach.  Parkinson has served on the men’s staff at IUPUI for the past two seasons.

Bowling Green: Head coach Curt Miller and associate head coach Jennifer Roos have received contract extensions.  The contracts of both Miller and Roos now run through June 30, 2016.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institution (RPI): Sara Parnell has been hired as an assistant coach. Parnell graduated from Siena College last spring, having spent four seasons as a student-athlete on the Saints’ women’s basketball team.

Southern Connecticut State: Janay Prim has been hired as an assistant coach.  Prim comes from Kolbe Cathedral High School (CT), where she was an assistant coach last season.

Wisconsin: Luke Wainwright was named Wisconsin’s interim director of basketball operations for the 2010-11 season.  Wainwright is in his fifth year with the Badger basketball program, serving as a program assistant last season.

UW-Milwaukee: Cameron Tucker has been promoted to an assistant coach.  Tucker has spent the last two seasons on staff as video coordinator.

IUPUI: Austin Parkinson has been named the new head coach.  Parkinson has been an assistant on IUPUI’s men’s team the past two seasons.  Parkinson replaces Shann Hart, who was fired last week after a university committee investigated former players’ allegations of emotional abuse and NCAA violations.

North Carolina Central University: John Moseley has been hired as an assistant coach.  Moseley comes from East Carolina, where he was a student manager while pursuing his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees before rising to becoming director of basketball operations and later as an assistant coach.
