Indiana: Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack has announced the hiring of Whitney Thomas as assistant coach.  Thomas was the video coordinator at Indiana last season.

Cal State San Marcos: Andrea Picchi has been hired as an assistant coach.  Picchi comes from Fullerton College, where she was an assistant since 2001.

Monmouth: Reggie Carney and Marquetta Dickens has been named assistant coaches and Meg Tarrant has been named the Director of Basketball Operations.  Carney was the high school basketball coach of head coach Jenny Palmateer and was inducted into the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Associaton Hall of Fame in 2004.  Dickens comes from North Carolina Central, where she was on the staff the last two seasons.  Tarrant was a graduate assistant at Seton Hall the last two seasons.

Dixie State: Brittany Carper has been hired as an assistant coach.

UCLA: Tony Newnan has been named an assistant coach.  Newnan comes from Westmont, where he was an assistant the last nine seasons.

Paul Quinn College (TX): Charles W. Keeley, III has been named the new head coach.  Keeley comes from Cedar Valley College, where he was the assistant head coach the last three years.

IPFW: Former Colgate and Stetson assistant Jon Coffman has been hired.

Eastern Michigan: Kevin Mondro has been named an assistant coach.  Mondro comes from Loyola (Chicago), where he was an assistant coach the last three seasons.

Texas Tech: Derrick Jasper has accepted a graduate assistant position.  Jasper recently finished playing at UNLV, and also played under head coach Billy Gillispie at Kentucky in 2007-08.

Western Michigan: Andrew Wodrich has been named an assistant coach.  Wodrich was the director of operations last season.

Wofford: Assistant coach Ed Geth has left the program.

South Carolina: Cypheus Bunton has been named the head coach.  Bunton was the team’s director of player development last season.

Toronto Raptors: Head coach Jay Triano has been fired.  Triano was the head coach since 2009.

Cal State Bakersfield: Head coach Greg McCall has announced that Zack Grasmick and Tasha Burnett will be assistant coaches.  Grasmick was on the men’s staff at Cal State Bakersfield since 2008.  Burnett comes from St. Mary’s, where she was an assistant the last four seasons.

Maine: Tracy Guerrette has been named director of operations.  Guerrette comes from Maine-Presque Isle, where she was the head coach the last four seasons.

Birmingham-Southern: Head coach Mitch Cole has resigned.  Cole has been the head coach since 2006.

Penn State: We are hearing that Boston University’s head coach Patrick Chambers will become the new head coach.

Thomas More College: Jeff Hans has been named the new head coach.  Hans comes from Northern Kentucky University, where he was an assistant the last three seasons.

South Florida: Steve Roccaforte has been hired as an assistant coach.  Roccaforte comes from Lamar University, where he was the head coach the last five seasons.

Baton Rouge CC: James Rix has been named interim head coach.  Rix was an assistant coach on the staff, and his last stint as head coach was at Northside High School (LA), where he led them to the Division 4-A State Championship in 2006.

Los Angeles Lakers: Italian coach Ettore Messina has agreed to join Mike Brown’s coaching staff.  Messina will be listed as an assistant coach but will be behind the bench, not on it, and will serve in more of a consulting capacity.  Messina was last head coach of the Spanish League club Real Madrid from 2009-2011.

Boston University: Brian Daly has been named interim head coach.  Daly has been on staff at Boston University the last two seasons, and was associate head coach last season.

Northwestern: Former Rutgers head coach Fred Hill has joined the staff as an assistant coach.  Hill was the head coach at Rutgers for four seasons and resigned in 2010.

Marshall: Jorge Fernandez has been hired as an assistant coach.  Fernandez comes from Miami (FL), where he was an assistant coach from 2004-2011, and associate head coach since 2007.

Chaminade: Cochise College head coach Jerry Carrillo has been named head coach.

Merrimack College: Julian Assibey has been named an assistant coach.  Assibey comes from Western State College (CO), where he was an assistant coach last season.

Texas A&M: Kyle Keller has been named an assistant coach.  Keller comes from Kansas, where he was an assistant the last three seasons.

The Citadel: Kevin Hammack is joining the staff as a grad assistant.

Western Kentucky: Head coach Ken McDonald has announced the hiring of Jake Morton as an assistant coach.  Morton comes from Miami (FL), where he was an assistant coach the last four seasons.

Murray State: Matt McMahon has been named an assistant coach.  McMahon comes from UNC-Wilmington, where he was an assistant last season.

Florida Tech: Terry Parks has been hired as an assistant coach.  Parks was the head coach at Brevard Community College but resigned after five seasons.

Winston-Salem State: Assistant coaches Murray Garvin and Byron Jones have both left and moved on to other jobs.  Garvin has taken an assistant coaching job at South Carolina State.  Jones has taken a job at Fresno State.

Golden State Warriors: Mark Jackson is the new head coach.  Jackson was a 17-year NBA veteran, and is currently an analyst for ESPN.

Alaska-Fairbanks: Mick Durham has been hired as the new head coach.  Durham comes from New Mexico State, where he was an assistant the last three seasons.

Westminster College: Shelley Jarrard has been hired as the new head coach.  Jarrard comes from Salt Lake CC, where she was an assistant coach the last two seasons.

Temple: Head coach Tonya Cardoza has received a contract extension through the year 2016.

College of Charleston: Head coach Nancy Wilson has announced she will retire after the conclusion of the 2011-12 season.

Golden State Warriors: New Orleans Hornets assistant coach Mike Malone has joined the staff in the same capacity.

UCLA: Korey McCray has been hired as an assistant coach.  McCray, who spent the 2007-08 season as an assistant coach at Mercer University in Macon, Ga., for head coach Mark Slonaker, has been working since 2004 as a skill development trainer with some of the NBA’s biggest stars.

Western State College of Colorado: Jill Mahoney has accepted the assistant coaching position at Western State College of Colorado. She was an assistant for the past 4 years at Grand Canyon University.

Boston College: Head coach Sylvia Crawley has announced the hiring of Timothy Eatman as an assistant coach.  Eatman most recently served as the associate head coach at the University of Arkansas. He was promoted to the associate job in 2007.

Butler: Ashley Hayes has been hired as an assistant coach.  Hayes has spent the last three seasons at Murray State.

Old Dominion: Karen Barefoot has been named head coach.  Barefoot comes from Elon, where she was the head coach the last three seasons.

Marquette: Head coach Terri Mitchell has announced the hiring of John Barnes as assistant coach.  Barnes was an assistant at Wisconsin last season.

Florida State: Brooke Wyckoff has been hired as an assistant coach.  Wyckoff played in the WNBA from 2001-2009, and also served as an assistant girl’s basketball coach at Lakota East High School (OH).

Penn State: Eugene Burroughs has been hired as an assistant coach.  Burroughs comes from Navy, where he was an assistant coach the last seven seasons.

Meridian CC: Dale Brown will be named the new head coach.  Brown comes from Dillard University in New Orleans, where he was the head coach the last three seasons.

Arizona: Head coach Sean Miller will receive an extra $100,000 each year as part of a two-year contract extension the Arizona Board of Regents is expected to approve next week.  Under the deal, the Arizona coach’s base salary would jump from $900,000 to $1 million July 1, boosting his overall compensation to $2.1 million.

Old Dominion: Head coach Karen Barefoot will make a base salary of $175,000 annually, with media/apearance fees earning her another $15,000.

Pasco-Hernando CC: James E. Johnson has been named the new athletic director and head basketball coach.  Johnson comes from Philander Smith College (AR), where he was the athletic director and head coach.

Xavier: Kareem Richardson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Richardson comes from Drake, where he was the head assistant coach for the past three seasons.

Chaminade: Eric Bovaird, an assistant coach at West Liberty University (WV), will be announced as the new men’s basketball coach.  Bovaird will replace Jerry Carrillo, who took the job for less than a week before changing his mind.

New Orleans Hornets: Head coach Monty Williams will promote Randy Ayers to lead assistant coach.  Ayers was an assistant on the Hornets staff last season.

Villanova: Doug West has rejoined the staff as an assistant coach.  West left the program last year to pursue an opportunity in private business.

Shippensburg University: Eric Rahauser has been named an acting assistant coach.  Rahauser was serving as the graduate assistant in the sports information office the last two seasons.

Kansas State: Lamont Evans has officially joined the coaching staff.  Evans was the team manager for the Wildcats the last three seasons.

Utah State: Head coach Stew Morrill has signed a contract extension.  The extension is six years and will go through the 2016-17 season.

Tennessee: Mark Pancratz has been hired as the video coordinator.  Pancratz served in the role of assistant to the head coach last season at Tennessee.

Moberly Area Community College (MO): Deidra Johnson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Johnson served as an assistant coach last season at Marshall.

Wake Forest: Rachel Stockdale has been hired as an assistant coach.  Stockdale comes from Elon.

Navy: Alison Smith has been announced to be joining the staff.  Smith comes from Bowdoin College, where she was an assistant coach.

St. Mary’s University (TX): Chanlee Bottoms has been hired as an assistant coach.  Bottoms comes from Arkansas-Fort Smith, where she was a student assistant.

Utah State: Head coach Raegan Pebley has signed a contract extension.

Newbury College: Jelani Townsell has been hired as the new head coach.  Townsell comes from UConn, where he was a graduate assistant.

South Alabama: Head coach Ronnie Arrow has announced the hiring of Dominique Taylor as an assistant coach.  Taylor comes from Neosho County CC, where he was an assistant coach the last two seasons.

Bradley: Greg Graham has accepted a position to be an assistant coach.  Graham was the head coach at Boise State from 2002-10.

Eastern Michigan: Benny White has been hired as an assistant coach.  White has spent almost all of his career in the state of Michigan as a coach, and was inducted into the Detroit Public School League’s Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007.

Western Kentucky: Curtis Turley has been director of operations.  Turley comes from Martha Layne Collins High School, where he was the head boys’ basketball coach last season.

University of Victoria: Rich Chambers has been named the new head coach.

UMaine: Jill Poe has been named assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.  Poe comes from East Carolina, where she was director of video services and scouting last season.

Virginia Tech: Head coach Seth Greenberg has named Jeff Wulbrun as Director of Basketball Operations.  Wulburn comes to Blacksburg following 15 years in real estate sales, development and marketing in Bloomington, Illinois. He also has been the chief operations officer of a custom home construction company for the last seven years. From 2002 through 2007, Wulbrun also served as head boy’s basketball coach at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington.

Niagara: Ron Ginyard has been hired as an assistant coach.  Ginyard comes from Navy, where he was an assistant coach the last three seasons.

Radford: Mike Jones has been named the new head coach.  Jones comes from VCU, where he was an assistant the last two seasons.

Tennessee: Head coach Cuonzo Martin has completed his staff with the hiring of Marco Harris as the team’s student-athlete welfare coordinator.  Harris has coached at Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington High School in addition to jobs as an AAU coach, athletic director and owner of a Subway Restaurant in Sand Springs, Okla.

Longwood University: Head coach Bill Reinson has announced the hiring of Lindsay Schrader and Jenny Poff as assistant coaches.  Schrader served as the compliance and governance intern at the Big Ten Conference during the 2010-11 academic year.  Poff worked as a volunteer assistant coach at Central Michigan last season.

Texas A&M-Kingsville: Michael Trujillo has been named the new head coach.  Trujillo comes from Texas State, where he was an assistant coach the last four seasons.

Henderson State: Doug Nichols has been named the new head coach.  Nichols comes from Arkansas Tech, where he was an assistant coach last season.

Samford: Michael Scruggs has been hired as an assistant coach.  Scruggs comes from Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he was a graduate assistant the last two seasons.

Florida State: Kyle Cregan has been hired as the new video coordinator.  Cregan spent the past two years as a graduate assistant with the Seminoles.

Ohio State: Brandon Miller resigned as assistant coach so he could spend more time with his family.  Miller had been at Ohio State since 2008.

UC Santa Barbara: Ryan Madry has been hired as an assistant coach.  Madry spent last season as the director of basketball operations at Cal State Fullerton.

Central Florida: J.P. Clark has been named assistant director of basketball operations.  Clark was a graduate assistant at UCF last season.

Georgia Southern: Stetson assistant Chris Capko has been hired as an assistant coach.

Murray State: James Kane has been named an assistant coach.  Kane comes from Alabama, where he was the video coordinator.

Harvard: Brian Adams has been hired as an assistant coach.  Adams was the video coordinator with the Boston Celtics the last four seasons.

Indiana: We are hearing that the Big Ten’s all time leading scorer Calbert Cheaney will likely join the staff in an operations position.

Texas Tech: Brooks “Bubba” Jennings will return to the coaching staff.  This will be Jennings 11th season at Texas Tech.

Navy: Head coach Ed DeChellis has completed his staff with the hiring of Kurt Kanaskie and Dan Earl as associate head coaches, and D.J. Black as an assistant coach.  Kanaskie, Earl, and Black all come from Penn State.  Kanaskie was an assistant coach for eight seasons, Earl was an assistant coach for six seasons, and Black was the director of basketball operations the last four seasons.

Indian River State College: Toni Gore has been named the new head coach.  Gore comes from FBC Southeast Basketball, where she served as Co-Director and Finest Basketball Club (FBC) Elite Team Head Coach for the FBC Southeast Elite program.

Truett-McConnell College: Matt Sanders has been named the new head coach.  Sanders comes from Lee University, where he served as assistant men’s and women’s basketball coach, the head junior varsity men’s basketball coach, and the assistant men’s and women’s golf coach.

San Jose State: Cecilia Russell-Nava was hired as an assistant coach.  Russell-Nava spent the past four seasons on New Mexico State’s coaching staff.

Purdue: Christy Smith has been named an assistant coach.  Smith comes from Valparaiso, where she was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator the last three seasons.

North Dakota: Annie Isler has been added to the staff as an assistant coach.  Isler comes from De La Salle High School in Minneapolis, Minn., where she spent the last year working as an afterschool supervisor and a substitute teacher.

Cincinnati: Aaron Swinson will be joining the staff.  Swinson comes for Tulsa, where he was an assistant coach the last three seasons.

Rhode Island: Cindy Blodgett has been hired as an assistant coach.  Blodgett was most recently the head coach at Maine.

Southern: Head coach Roman Banks has completed his staff by hiring Sheldon Jones, Morris Scott and Ryan Price as assistant coaches.  Banks also hired Rodney Kirschner as director of basketball operations and Brandon White as the graduate assistant.

Toronto Raptors: Dwane Casey has been named the new head coach.  Casey was an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks.

Drake: Stan Johnson has been named an assistant coach.  Johnson comes from Utah, where he was an assistant coach the last three seasons.

Midland College: We are hearing that the four finalists for the head coaching job at Midland College are former Texas Tech assistant Bubba Jennings, New Mexico Junior College head coach Chris Tifft, University of New Orleans associate head coach Bill Lewitt, and University of Northern Colorado assistant Chris Craig.

DePaul: Jill Pizzotti and Lisa Ryckbosch have joined the Blue Demon staff.  Pizzotti comes from West Virginia, where she was the recruiting coordinator.  Ryckbosch comes from Illinois-Chicago, where she was the head coach the last nine seasons.

High Point: Merideth Marsh has been hired as an assistant coach.  Marsh is a former All-SEC guard who spent last season playing professionally in Spain.

Valparaiso: Kelly Komara has been hired as an assistant coach.  Komara comes from Auburn, where she was the video coordinator the last four seasons.

Miami (OH): Mark Ehlen has been named an assistant coach.  Ehlen comes from Cincinnati, where he was an assistant coach the last two seasons.

George Washington: Tamika Louis and Kristin Cole have been hired as assistant coaches.  Louis comes from St. John’s, where she was an assistant coach the last four seasons.  Cole comes from New Hampshire, where she was the head coach the last three seasons.

Carroll College: The finalists for the head coaching job are MSU-Northern women’s head basketball coach Chris Mouat, Seattle Pacific assistant Michelle Skyles, former Southwest Minnesota State coach Mike Jewett and Weber State associate head coach Rachelle Sayers.

Memphis: Head coach Melissa McFerrin has received a one-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season. Her base pay will remain at $180,000.

Old Dominion: Amaka ‘Mox’ Agugua has been hired as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.  Agugua comes from Indiana, where she served in the same capacity the last two seasons.

Iowa Lakes CC: Nicole Bullock will become the new head coach.  Bullock comes from Adams State (CO), where she was an assistant the last three seasons.

Elon: Charlotte Smith has been hired as the new head coach.  Smith comes from North Carolina, where she was an assistant the last nine seasons.

West Virginia: Lester Rowe has been hired as an assistant coach.  Rowe has been a commercial property manager and sales executive with Petroplus Lane, LLC since 2002. From 2005-10, Rowe played an integral role in West Virginia AAU Basketball as he served as the head coach of the West Virginia Hornets and assisted with the West Virginia Tornadoes and the West Virginia Blue Devils.

Northern Illinois: Shannon Baugh has been hired as an assistant coach and Stephanie Smith has been hired as a graduate assistant.  Baugh comes from Saginaw Valley State, where she was the head coach the last three seasons.  Smith has been coaching for the past eight years at the high school level. Most recently, she was the head women’s varsity coach at Burlington Central in Burlington, Ill.

USC Aiken (SC): Head coach Mike Brandt has announced the hiring of Jennifer Brock as an assistant coach.  Brock comes from West Texas A&M, where she was an assistant coach the last four seasons.

Culver-Stockton College: Melissa Young has been named the new head coach.  Young comes from Hamline University, where she was the head coach the last six seasons.

Gannon University: Rachel Folcik has been hired as an assistant coach.  Folcik comes from Ferris State, where she was a graduate assistant the last two seasons.

Georgetown: Kevin Broadus has been hired as a special assistant.  Broadus was the head coach at Binghamton from 2007-2010.

St. Peter’s: Head coach John Dunne has been given a contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

IUPUI: David Padgett has been hired as an assistant coach.  Padgett spent last season as the assistant strength coach at Louisville.

Midland College: Chris Craig has been hired as the new head coach.  Craig comes from Northern Colorado, where he was an assistant last season.

Indiana Pacers: Brian Shaw will be named associate head coach.  Shaw was an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Boston University: Joe Jones has been hired as the new head coach.  Jones comes from Boston College, where he was the associate head coach last season.

Minnesota Timberwolves: Head coach Kurt Rambis has been fired.  Rambis was the head coach for the past two seasons.

American University: Belle Koclanes has been named an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator.  Koclanes comes form Old Dominion, where she was an assistant coach the last three seasons.

Jacksonville College: Leasa Ailshie has been hired as an assistant coach.  Ailshie comes from Sam Houston State, where she was a graduate assistant last season.

Coastal Carolina: Mamadou N’Diaye has accepted an offer to become the newest assistant coach.  N’Diaye arrives at Coastal Carolina following a successful professional playing career that began in 2000 when he was selected in the first round of the 2000 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.

Oral Roberts: Head coach Scott Sutton has hired Sean Sutton as an assistant coach.  Sean Sutton served last season in the unpaid capacity as ORU’s Executive Advisor to the men’s basketball staff. In that position, he was only allowed to interact with Golden Eagles’ coaches during games and practices and break down film, but wasn’t permitted to provide direct instruction to the players.

Kentucky: Head coach John Calipari has received a two-year contract extension.  The new deal is worth $36.5 million with the opportunity to earn performance-based incentives.

Tennessee State: Rick Duckett has been hired as an assistant coach.  Duckett spent the last two seasons as a basketball color analyst for UNC Greensboro.  He has nine years of coaching experience as a head coach with three different programs.

Kennesaw State: Mike Smith, Jimmy Lallathin, and Tim Morris have been named assistant coaches. Smith spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Jacksonville State.  Morris was a graduate assistant coach at Alabama last season.  Lallathin was on staff at Miami (OH) for the last three seasons.

Penn State: Ross Condon has been named the director of operations.  Condon was an assistant coach at Boston University the last two seasons.  Brian Fisher has been named video coordinator.  Fisher was the director of basketball operations at Boston University last season.

Radford: Kyle Getter and Chris Hawkins have been hired as assistant coaches.  Getter was the director of basketball operations at VCU last season. Hawkins has worked at Tulane and Buffalo and was a former player at Radford.

Texas Tech: Assistant coach Chris Beard has left the program to pursue other opportunities less than three months after being hired.  Beard was the associate head coach for former head coach Pat Knight.

Charleston Southern: BJ McKie has been hired as an assistant coach.

Manhattan: Patrick Waldron has been named an assistant coach.  Waldron was the team’s head student manager the last three seasons.

UC Santa Barbara: Robin Thormodsgaard has been hired as the director of basketball operations.

Rutgers: Tia Jackson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Jackson was the head coach at Washington the last four seasons.

Lake Superior State: Shannon Eggers has remained on staff as an assistant coach under new head coach Justin Rees.  This will be her fourth season at Lake Superior State.

Bethune-Cookman: Head coach Clifford Reed has been fired.  Reed was entering his tenth full season as head coach this year.

Northern Iowa: Erik Crawford has been hired as an assistant coach.  Crawford comes from Creighton, where he was the director of basketball operations last season.

Charlotte Bobcats: Rob Werdann has been named an assistant coach.  Werdann was an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors last season.

Miami (OH): Todd Lickliter has been hired as an assistant coach.  Lickliter last was the head coach at Iowa from 2007-10.

Rhode Island: Larry Harris has been hired to the staff.  Harris comes from NC State, where he was an assistant coach the last 15 years.

Denver Nuggets: Adrian Dantley has been fired as an assistant coach.

University of New Orleans: Mark Slessinger appears to be the next head coach.  Slessinger has been an assistant coach at Northwestern State the last 11 seasons.

Valparaiso: Roger Powell, who was a key member of the Illinois 2004-05 Final Four team, was hired as an assistant coach.  Powell spent the last six years playing professionally overseas and in the NBA.

Meridian CC: Dale Brown is out and Nathan Courtney is in as the new head coach.  Brown was offered a more lucrative university-level job in Georgia.  Courtney comes from Indian Hills CC, where he was an assistant coach.

UT-Arlington: Karen Blair has been named an assistant coach.  Blair comes from Colgate, where she was an assistant coach the last two seasons.

Carroll College: Rachelle Sayers has been named the new head coach.  Sayers comes from Weber State, where she was an assistant coach the last 13 years.

Indiana: Charlene Thomas-Swinson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Thomas-Swinson was the head coach at Tulsa the last six seasons.

Jackson State: Head coach Denise Taylor has received a termination letter from the school.  Taylor was the head coach for the last ten seasons.

West Virginia: Head coach Bob Huggins has realigned his staff.  Assistant coach Billy Hahn will become the team’s new assistant to the head coach, and current director of basketball operations Jerrod Calhoun will take over Hahn’s role as an assistant coach on July 1.  

Ohio State: Chris Jent will be an assistant coach.  Jent comes from the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he was an assistant coach since 2009.

Toronto Raptors: Head coach Dwane Casey has completed his staff with the hiring of Johnny Davis as his lead assistant.  Davis was an assistant coach with the Memphis Grizzlies.

St. Bonaventure: Head coach Jim Crowley has agreed to a contract extension through 2017.  Crowley completed his 12th season as head coach.

Georgia Southern: Chris Capko has been hired as an assistant coach.  Capko was on the staff at Stetson the last two seasons.

Los Angeles Lakers: John Kuester has been named an assistant coach.  Kuester was the head coach of the Detroit Pistons the last two seasons.

Creighton: Jeff Vanderloo has been named the director of basketball operations.  Vanderloo has spent the previous 19 seasons as the head coach at Sioux City (Iowa) East High School.
