Portland State: Jenn Wassom has been hired as an assistant coach.  Wassom was the director of basketball operations at the University of Pacific the last two seasons.

Bowdoin College: KJ Krasco has been named an assistant coach.  Krasco was the head coach at Clarkson University from 2007-2010.

Austin Peay: Brooke Armistead has been hired as an assistant coach.

Colorado State: Sara Hemmings has been hired as an assistant coach.  Hemmings graduated in May and was on the Colorado State women’s basketball team the last 4 seasons.

Tulane: Beth Dunkenberger has been hired as director of operations.  Dunkenberger was the head women’s coach at Virginia Tech for seven seasons.

Seton Hall: Bett Shelby has been hired as an assistant coach.  Shelby comes from Southern Illinois, where she was the recruiting coordinator last season.

Los Angeles Lakers: Chuck Person will remain on the staff.  Person was an assistant under former head coach Phil Jackson.  Also, Quin Snyder has been hired as an assistant coach.  Snyder was an assistant last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

George Washington: Matt Lisiewski and Maurice Joseph have been hired as director of basketball operations and assistant director of basketball operations, respectively.  Lisiewski comes from Maryland, where he was the video director the last five years.  Joseph spent last year playing professionally in Israel.

Pearl River CC: Chris Oney has been named the head coach.

New Mexico State: Tony Delk has been hired as an assistant coach.  Delk was the assistant director of basketball operations the last two seasons.

Eastern Washington: Steve Lowe has been named an assistant coach.  Lowe was an assistant coach Cameron Universit (OK).

Richmond: Kim Lewis has been named director of basketball operations.  Lewis comes from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, where he was an assistant coach last season.

Bethune-Cookman: Gravelle Craig has been appointed acting head coach.  Craig has been with the program since 2004, and most recently as associate head coach.

TCU: Rob Evans has been hired as an assistant coach.  Evans has been a coach on the Division I level for 42 years. He spent the last four seasons as an assistant at Arkansas.

Indiana Pacers: Frank Vogel will officially remove the interim tag on his title and will be team’s head coach.  Vogel was named the interim coach last season and led the Pacers to the playoffs.

Whitworth University: Heather Bowman has been hired as an assistant coach.

Colgate: Ali Mann has been named an assistant coach.  Mann comes to Colgate after spending two seasons an assistant coach at Indiana-Purdue University-Fort Wayne (IPFW) and one season as a head coach of Quinta dos Lombos, the 19-under Portuguese team.

Southeastern LA: Micheal Cyprien has been hired as an assistant coach.  Cyprien was on the staff at Rogers State University (OK) last season.

Boise State: John Rillie has been promoted to assistant coach.  Rillie served as the operations director last season.  Also, Chris Cobbina as operations director.  Cobbina was a high school assistant coach in Maryland last season.

Oklahoma: Teddy Owens has been hired as a graduate assistant.  Owens was the head coach at Lincoln Christian High School in Tulsa, OK.

Stanford: Head coach Johnny Dawkins has signed a two-year contract extension that takes him through the year 2015-16.

Davidson: Billy Thom is the new director of basketball operations.  Thom graduated from Davidson in 2011, and served as the student director of basketball operations last season.

Tennessee-Chattanooga: Assistant coach Jay Bowen has left the staff for a job at a private school in Florida.  Bowen was hired in July 2010.

Holy Names University: Catherria Turner has been hired as the new head coach.   Turner served as an assistant coach at the University of Portland, University of Maine, and Simpson College (IA) the past four seasons.  She assisted with recruiting and ensuring student athletes attained academic excellence.

Minnesota Timberwolves: Head coach Kurt Rambis has been fired after two seasons.

Langston University: Nigel Thomas has been named the new head coach.  Thomas was an assistant at Langston University the past three seasons.

West Liberty University: Ben Howlett has been hired as an assistant coach.  Howlett was an assistant coach at Ohio Valley Universty last season.

Clemson: Jayme Callahan has been named an assistant coach.  Callahan comes from La Salle University, where she was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator last season.

Wofford: Jessica Ridgill has joined the staff.  Ridgill spent the past eight seasons on the coaching staff at Erskine College.  She spent her first five seasons with Erskine College as an assistant coach before transitioning into the head coach position in 2008.

Geneva College: Head coach Renee Drake will resign.  Drake was the head coach for the last two seasons.

Los Angeles Sparks: Jennifer Gillom has been fired as the head coach and Joe Bryant has taken over.  Bryant was the head coach for the Sparks in 2005.

Houston Rockets: Chris Finch and Kelvin Sampson have been hired as assistant coaches.  Finch was the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and England National team coach.  Sampson was the former head coach at Oklahoma and Indiana.  Also, J.B. Bickerstaff has been hired as an assistant coach.

New Mexico State: Marvin Menzies has agreed to a two-year contract extension.  The new deal runs through April 30, 2014. At $280,500 annually, there was no salary increase. The contract includes up to $225,000 of incentives.

Concordia University: Freddy Coleman has been hired as an assistant coach.  Coleman taking over for Gameli Ahelegbe, who took an assistant coaching job at the University of North Dakota in the offseason.

Toronto Raptors: Head coach Dwane Casey has completed his staff with the hirings of Eric Hughes, Micah Nori, Scott Roth and Tom Sterner as assistant coaches.  Hughes, Nori and Roth were retained by Casey from Jay Triano’s coaching staff.

Louisiana-Monroe: Janet Butler has been hired as an assistant coach.  Butler recently graduated from Louisiana College this spring, and spent four seasons with the Wildcat women’s basketball team and served as the team captain during her senior season. She will be responsible for working with the ULM guards.

Quincy University (IL): Nathan Daume has been hired as an assistant coach.  Daume was an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast University from 2007-10.  He spent the last year as a trainer in the Cape Girardeau, Mo., area.

Edward Waters College (FL): Charmaine Wilson will be named the new head coach.  Wilson comes from Bethune-Cookman, where she was an assistant coach since 2004.

Southeastern Illinois College: Clyde Buck has been named the new head coach.  Buck last coached in 2009 at Wabash Valley, where he was the head coach.

Kansas: Alaina Lee has been hired as assistant director of operations and video coordinator.  Lee was an assistant coach at Blinn College for two seasons from 2008-10.

Air Force: Stephanie Schueler has been hired as an assistant coach.  Schueler comes from Southern Miss, where she was the director of basketball operations last season.

Quinnipiac: Head coach Tom Moore has received a contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

Baylor: Grant McCasland has been named an assistant coach. McCasland comes from Midwestern State, where he was the head coach the last two seasons.

Plymouth State: Andrew Novick has been named the head coach.  Novick comes from Tulane, where he was an assistant coach the last five seasons.

Texas A&M: John Reese has been named an assistant coach.  Reese was the head coach of Bryan HS (TX).  Reese is father of Bryan senior J-Mychal Reese, one of the nation’s top guard prospects.

Edward Waters College (FL): Frank Burnell has been named the new head coach.  Burnell comes from Daytona Beach Community College, where he was the head coach.

UConn: Karl Hobbs has been named director of men’s basketball administration.  Hobbs was the head coach at George Washington for ten seasons.

VCU: Head coach Shaka Smart has announced that Mike Rhoades is the associate head coach.

Abilene Christian University: Joe Golding has agreed to become the new head coach.  Golding was an assistant coach at Arkansas-Little Rock the last three seasons.

Lakeland JC (IL): Landon Shipley has been named an assistant coach.  Shipley comes from Austin Peay, where he was a graduate assistant last season.

Tulsa Shock: Kathy McConnell-Miller has joined the team as an assistant coach.  McConnell-Miller last was the head coach at Colorado.

Quinnipiac: Head coach Tricia Fabbri has signed a contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

Navy: Jeff Harada has been named an assistant coach.  Harada comes from Hawai’i Pacific, where he was the head coach the last four seasons.

Northwood University: Lacy Romine has been hired as an assistant coach.  Romine was a graduate assistant at Findlay last season.

Gallaudet University: Head coach Kevin Cook has resigned due to personal reasons.  Cook was the head coach the last four seasons.

Golden State Warriors: Darren Erman has agreed to join head coach Mark Jackson’s staff.  Erman was an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics the last four seasons.

Texas Southern: Head coach Yolanda Wells-Broughton has hired former Texas A&M assistant coach and also former Huston-Tillotson head coach Kerrie Patterson-Brown, and also hired former Texas A&M Kingsville head coach Scott Hyland as assistant coaches.

Westminster College: Elaine Elliott will be joining the coaching staff.  Elliott will join Westminster after stepping down as head coach at the University of Utah and taking a one-year leave of absence.

Dillard University: Bernard Griffith has been named the new head coach.  Griffith spent the past year serving as basketball coach and athletic director at L.B. Landry HS (LA).

Detroit Pistons: Lawrence Frank is expected to be named the new head coach.  Frank was an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics last season, and was the head coach of the New Jersey Nets from 2003-09.

Colby College: Bethany Dannelly has been named an assistant coach.  Dannelly was the assistant director of operations and the video coordinator for the University of Virginia women’s basketball team last year.

Purdue: Tim Bertsch has been named the new video coordinator.  Bertsch was a manager for the Purdue women’s basketball team last season and assisted Ben Coomes, the previous video coordinator.

Eastern Nazarene College: Nicolette Dresback has been named sports information director and assistant coach. Dresback finished her Master’s in Physical Education & Athletic Administration in December 2010 at Idaho State.

Ohio: Norbert Spivey has been hired as director of basketball operations.  Spivey joins the staff after he spent the last three years with Akron women’s basketball staff in various roles.

Tulsa Shock: Tracy Murray has been named an assistant coach for the rest of the season.  Murray played for six NBA teams during a 12-year NBA career.

Elon: Cristy McKinney has been hired as an assistant coach.  McKinney was the head coach at Clemson for five years from 2005-10.

University of Prince Edward Island: Tim Kendrick has been named the new head coach.  Kendrick coached the Nova Scotia men’s team to a silver medal finish at the Canada Games in August 2009.

Elon: Head coach Charlotte Smith has filled out her staff with the additions of Tim Valentine, Josh Wick and Emily Roberts.  Valentine held the roles of assistant coach and recruiting coordinator last season at Division II St. Augustine’s.  Wick served as an assistant at East Tennessee State during the last three seasons.  Roberts will work as Elon’s director of operations. She was the video coordinator for Memphis last season.

Indiana: Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack has agreed to a two-year contract extension that will keep her as the head coach through the 2014-15 season.

Southern Maine CC: Kendra Reichert will be the head coach and assistant athletics and recreation director.  Reichert was most recently the head coach at Cazenovia College in New York.

Wilkes University: Chris Heery has been named the new head coach.  Heery comes to Wilkes after spending six seasons as an assistant coach at Muhlenberg College.

Duquesne: Amadou “Pape” Koundoul has been named an assistant coach.  Koundoul spent this past year providing instruction for athletes here in the United States following a brief stint at UC Irvine in the late summer and early fall of 2010.
