Dakota Wizards (NBDL): Nate Bjorkgren has been named the new head coach. Bjorkgren was an assistant the last four seasons with the Iowa Energy (NBDL).

Western Michigan: Head coach Steve Hawkins has received a contract extension through the 2015-16 season.

Northern Arizona University: Eric Fundalewicz has been hired as an assistant coach. Fundalewicz spent last year as the head men’s basketball coach at Yavapai College.

Indiana: Jimmy Colloton has been hired as a graduate assistant. Colloton was a student assistant for the men’s basketball team at Wittenberg University last season.

Texas Tech: Jeff Kidder has joined the staff. Kidder comes from Indian Hills CC, where he was the head coach the last six seasons.

Charleston Southern: Brad Dobbels has been named an assistant coach. Dobbels was the head coach at Goose Creek HS the last 14 seasons.

South Alabama: Jeff Price has been named associate head coach. Price was the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan last season.

Liberty: Sarah Boruta has been hired as director of basketball operations. Boruta spent the last three seasons on the staff at Stanford.

Nicholls State: Head coach J.P. Piper has agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2013-14 season.

New Orleans Hornets: Head coach Monty Williams has added Dave Hanners to his staff. Hanners has spent the last two and a half seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats as an assistant coach.

Geneva College: Lori Wynn has been hired as the new head coach. Wynn spent the last eight seasons as the head coach at Malone University (OH).

Tennessee-Chattanooga: DeAntoine Beasley has been hired as an assistant coach. Beasley played professional basketball in England for seven seasons from 2002-09 before returning to America in order to pursue a coaching career.

Stetson: Herman Burge and Nicole Woods have been named assistant coaches. Woods was a graduate assistant at Northern Illinois the last two seasons.

Ohio State: Candace Dark will be named the video coordinator. Dark was the graduate assistant manager at Toledo.

Friends University (KS): Brett Gunderson is the new assistant coach. Gunderson was the coach at Trinity Academy (KS) this past season.

Duquesne: Amadou “Pape” Koundoul has been named an assistant coach. Koundoul spent this past year providing instruction for athletes here in the United States following a brief stint at UC Irvine in the late summer and early fall of 2010.
