Winners to be determined by their peers

BasketballScoop.com and ONS Performance™, makers of Critical Reload™, announced today a new set of “Coaches of the Year” awards focusing on the “Rising Stars” of the College Basketball Coaching profession.  For both Men’s and Women’s college basketball, our panel will select five of the best assistant coaches in the game.

“This is the only national set of awards being presented to assistant coaches.  The winners will represent the best and brightest of the profession; the Rising Stars,” said Scott Roussel, President of BasketballScoop.

Key Dates are as follows:
March 10th  – March 25th         Nominations accepted from coaches only
March 30th                              20 Semi-Finalists named (both Men’s and Women’s)
March 30th – April 15th            Votes accepted to determine Finalists
April 20th                                10 Finalists will be announced (Men’s and Women’s)
May 4th                                   Announcements of the winners begin

Coaches will be evaluated in the following areas:  Recruiting, Player Development, Team Development / Scouting, Leadership and Administration. Men’s and Women’s winners will be selected by separate panels, each consisting of current head and assistant coaches.
