Dedrique Taylor - Associate Head Coach - Arizona St.

Dedrique Taylor joined the staff at Arizona St. in 2006 after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant with the Nevada Wolf Pack.

In his short time with Arizona St., Taylor has been part of a historic resurrection of the program.  In the 2006-2007 season, the Sun Devils won just 8 games.  In 07-08 they won 21 and this past season the Sun Devils won 25 games and finished the regular season in the Top 25.

Taylor is known as a great recruiter and talent evaluator; but is equally respected for his on the court knowledge.

While on staff at Nevada, the Wolf Pack went 27-6 and went to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year in 2005-06. Taylor came to Nevada after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Portland State University (2002-2004).
Prior to coaching at Portland State, Taylor served as an assistant coach at Loyola Marymount University (2001-2002). He spent the 2000-2001 season as an assistant at his alma mater, UC Davis.

Taylor finished his college playing career at UC Davis where he played for two seasons and the team compiled a 43-16 record while twice advancing to the second round of the NCAA Regional Tournament.

Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Organizational Studies at UC Davis. He received his master’s degree in sports administration from the United States Sports Academy in 2000.
