Sacred Heart (CT): Head coach Ed Swanson has announced the hiring of Jen Wedo as an assistant coach.  Wedo comes from Lafayette, where she was an assistant last season.

Ferris State (MI): Kurt Westendorp has been hired as an assistant coach.  Westendorp comes from Albion College (MI), where he was an assistant coach the past three seasons.

Penn State: Tulyah Gaines has been hired as the director of basketball operations.  Gaines comes from San Bernadino Valley College, where she was an assistant last season.

Covenant College (GA): Corey Mullins has been hired as the new head coach.  Mullins comes from Kentucky Christian College, where he was the head coach on the men’s team the past two seasons.

Georgia College & State University: Head coach Maurice Smith has announced the hiring of Toby Wagoner as an assistant coach.  Wagoner moves over from the men’s team, where he was a graduate assistant last season.

Pfeiffer University (NC): Michael Gilroy has been hired as an assistant coach.  Gilroy comes to Pfeiffer after spending quality time with AAU basketball programs in Virginia and coaching at George Mason High School in Falls Church, VA.

College of the Sequoias (CA): Luke Vidak is out as the head coach.  COS athletic director Lamel Harris confirmed the decision Tuesday saying the school and Vidak agreed on a “mutual decision” to “go another way” with the program.  The Giants finished the 2009-10 season 16-12 overall, losing in the first round of the postseason, a year after going 16-13 overall. The Giants earned a playoff berth for the first time in five seasons.

North Dakota: John Motherwell has been hired as an assistant coach.  Motherwell comes from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he was an assistant the past four seasons.

LSU: Angela Jones has been named director of operations.  Jones comes to LSU after serving as a sales representative for Abbott Laboratories in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for two years.

Montana State-Northern: Head coach Chris Mouat has announced the hiring of Juliann Keller as assistant basketball coach.  Keller was most recently head girls’ basketball coach at Fort Benton (MT).

George Fox University (OR): Michael Meek has been hired as the new head coach.  Meek replaces Scott Rueck, who became the head coach at Oregon State.  Meek comes from Southridge High School (OR), where he was the head coach the past ten seasons.

TCU: Ebony Shaw has been hired as the director of operations.  Shaw comes from Dunbar High School (TX), where she was the head coach the past two seasons.

New York University: Stephanie Marciano has been hired as an assistant coach.  Marciano comes from Bucknell, where she was an assistant last season.

Oregon State: Mark Campbell has been appointed the first assistant coach for head coach Scott Rueck.  Campbell comes from St. Mary’s College, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Georgetown: Head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy has signed a contract extension through the 2014-15 season.

Alaska Fairbanks: Jason Nichols has been named an assistant coach.  Nichols comes from the College of Southern Idaho, where he was an assistant last season.

Bismarck State: Kylee Wilson has been named the new head coach.  Wilson comes from Caldwell College (NJ), where she was the associate head coach last season.

Prairie View A&M: Dawn Brown has been named an assistant coach.  Brown comes from Tougaloo College (MS), where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

Georgia State: Megan Darrah has been named director of basketball operations.  Darrah was a four-year letter winner at Georgia and recently played overseas in Spain.

Rhode Island: Sources tell BasketballScoop that URI has hired Chris Passmore as the Director of Basketball Operations. Passmore comes from Roger Williams University where he was the interim head coach last season.

Hendrix College (AR): Emily Cummins has been hired as the new head coach.  Cummins comes from LaGrange College (GA), where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

St. Bonaventure: Tiara Johnson has been hired as the new Director of Basketball Operations.  Johnson just finished playing with St. Bonaventure last season.

George Washington: Kerishe Allen has been named the team’s Director of Basketball Operations. Allen joins the women’s basketball staff after four years as an undergraduate team manager for GW’s men’s basketball program.

Palomar College (CA): Ray Johnson has been hired as the new head coach.  Johnson comes from Fairleigh Dickinson, where he was an assistant on the men’s basketball team last season.

Centenary (NJ): Mona Ressaissi has been named co-head coach.  Ressaissi comes from Mount Olive High School (NJ), where she was a junior varsity and assistant varsity coach the past two seasons.

Pittsburgh: Mallorie Winn has been hired as an assistant coach.  Winn comes from Saddleback College (CA), where she was a volunteer assistant last season.

Princeton: Charisse Mapp has been hired as an assistant coach.  Mapp comes from the Mount Zion Christian Academy, where she was the head coach and ran basketball clinics in the area.

Our Lady of the Lake University (TX): Rusty Kennedy has been hired as the new head coach.  Kennedy comes from Clarendon College (TX), where he was the head coach and athletic director the past five seasons.

Stephen F. Austin: Andy Majors has been hired as an assistant coach.  Majors comes from Pittsburg State University (KS), where he was an assistant the past two seasons.

Baton Rouge CC: Paula Lee has been hired as the new head coach.  Lee comes from Kaplan High School (LA), where she was the head coach last season.

North Dakota State: Ali Prichard has been promoted from director of operations to assistant coach.

Northwestern: Caroline McCombs has been named assistant coach for Northwestern’s women’s basketball program.  McCombs comes from Pittsburgh, where she was an assistant the past five seasons.

Hofstra: Head coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey has hired Bill Ferrara and Tanika Price as assistant coaches.  Ferrara comes from Central Michigan, where he was an assistant the past three seasons.  Price comes from the staff at the University of Hartford where she has been for the past four seasons.

Northern Michigan: Carly Benson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Benson was a graduate assistant for Northern Michigan last season.

Yale: Allison Guth has been named an assistant coach.  Guth comes from Depaul, where she was the director of basketball operations the past two seasons.

Central Florida: Assistant coach Courtney Locke has been promoted to recruiting coordinator.  This will be Locke’s third season with UCF.

Marshall: Head coach Royce Chadwick has announced the hiring of Deidra Johnson as an assistant coach.  Johnson comes from Chipola College (FL) where she was an assistant the past two seasons.

Itawamba Community College: Robin Porter has been hired as an assistant coach.

North Texas: Jimmy Stellato and Margaret Richards have been hired as assistant coaches.  Stellato comes from Stephen F. Austin, where he was an assistant last season.  Richards comes from St. Augustine College (NC), where she was the head coach the past two seasons.

Austin Peay: Jessica Grayson has been hired as an assistant coach.  Grayson comes from UT-Martin, where she was an assistant the past three seasons.

Pensacola JC:  Sources tell BasketballScoop that assistant Taneisha Rogers has left the program.

Green Bay: Head coach Matt Bollant has announced that Mike Divilbiss has been promoted to associate head coach.  Divilbiss will be entering his third year with Green Bay.

UT-Chattanooga: Katie Galloway has been hired as an assistant coach.  Galloway comes from Ringgold High School where she was an assistant coach the past three years.

Midwestern State: Christopher Reay has been hired as an assistant coach.  Reay played for MSU from 2005-08 and comes from the New Zealand National Basketball League where he played professionally the past two seasons.

Chaminade: Bobby Keanini has been hired as the new head coach.  Keanini last coached in 2007 with Roosevelt High School (HI).
